Can America survive a President Obama?

qazwiniobama.jpg
It is a very real possibility that we could be on the verge of electing a president that would basically be the Second Coming of Jimmy Carter. Obama, like Carter, shows almost an eagerness to go down as one of the most dangerous, liberal pacifists in all of American history. He is a man that shows himself to be someone who is just a little too willing to once again allow America to become the doormat of the world. Anyone who does not see this man for exactly what he is, does so at his or her own peril. And, those who fail to recognize these traits of his, seem to do so either by choice, ignorance or both. He is nothing more than a hate America Democrat who not only blames his country for all that’s wrong with the world, but also thinks we should pay for everything as well. He is just another left wing nut willing to pay homage to a very corrupt UN while having total disdain for the Constitution of this country. He fails to recognize that American priorities must come first, if for no other reason than because murdering thugs are trying to kill as many of us as they can all in the name of their religion.

The strength of George W. Bush

"Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: 'Lord, if I could only have talked to Hitler, all this might have been avoided.' We have an obligation to call this what it is--the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."

The steadfastness of John McCain

"Yes, there have been appeasers in the past, and the president is exactly right, and one of them is Neville Chamberlain. I believe that it’s not an accident that our hostages came home from Iran when President Reagan was president of the United States. He didn’t sit down in a negotiation with the religious extremists in Iran, he made it very clear that those hostages were coming home."

The incoherence of Barack Hussein Obama

Sporting a shiny new American flag pin at an appearance in Rush Limbaugh's hometown, Sen. Barack Obama came up with some novel reasons why the U.S. may be struggling in the war in Afghanistan.

"We don't have enough capacity right now to deal with it -- and it's not just the troops," Obama, D-Ill., told a crowd in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Obama posited -- incorrectly -- that Arabic translators deployed in Iraq are needed in Afghanistan -- forgetting, momentarily, that Afghans don't speak Arabic. "We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then it’s harder for us to use them in Afghanistan," Obama said.

The vast majority of military translators in both war zones are drawn from the local population. Naturally they speak the local language. In Iraq, that's Arabic or Kurdish. In Afghanistan, it's any of a half dozen other languages -- including Pashtu, Dari, and Farsi. No sooner did Obama realize his mistake -- and correct himself -- but he immediately made another.

"We need agricultural specialists in Afghanistan, people who can help them develop other crops than heroin poppies, because the drug trade in Afghanistan is what is driving and financing these terrorist networks. So we need agricultural specialists," he said. So far, so good. "But if we are sending them to Baghdad, they're not in Afghanistan," Obama said.

Iraq has many problems, but encouraging farmers to grow food instead of opium poppies isn't one of them. In Iraq, oil fields not poppy fields are a major source of U.S. technical assistance.

BARACK OBAMA’S PLAN TO SECURE AMERICA AND RESTORE OUR STANDING

"When I am this party's nominee, my opponent will not be able to say that I voted for the war in Iraq; or that I gave George Bush the benefit of the doubt on Iran; or that I supported Bush-Cheney policies of not talking to leaders that we don't like. And he will not be able to say that I wavered on something as fundamental as whether or not it is ok for America to torture — because it is never ok… I will end the war in Iraq… I will close Guantanamo. I will restore habeas corpus. I will finish the fight against Al Qaeda. And I will lead the world to combat the common threats of the 21st century: nuclear weapons and terrorism; climate change and poverty; genocide and disease. And I will send once more a message to those yearning faces beyond our shores that says, "You matter to us. Your future is our future. And our moment is now."

— Barack Obama, Des Moines, Iowa, November 10, 2007

Consider this statement by Obama regarding Lebanon:

"This effort to undermine Lebanon’s elected government needs to stop, and all those who have influence with Hezbollah must press them to stand down immediately. It’s time to engage in diplomatic efforts to help build a new Lebanese consensus that focuses on electoral reform, an end to the current corrupt patronage system, and the development of the economy that provides for a fair distribution of services, opportunities and employment."

The naiveté of this statement is staggering.

For National Security reasons alone this incompetent presidential wanna be needs to be sent packing. I don’t think even Hillary is as dangerous as Obama could turn out to be. He recently went so far as to say that because his middle name is Hussein, those supporting the terrorists would be able to trust him and be more willing to talk instead of bomb. (I thought we weren’t supposed to mention his middle name.) Does the word "MORON" mean anything to you? Can you possibly imagine how incredibly dangerous this man could be as President, especially when backed up by a Congress packed to the rafters with his fellow pacifists and appeasers? If Obama is in fact elected, you’d better be ready to run for cover. I’m actually thinking about covering my in ground swimming pool with steel reinforced concrete and turning it into a bomb shelter.

You can think want you want about McCain, and trust me I’m not an enthusiastic member of his fan club either, but at least by the end of what would be his first four years as President I’m very confident we wouldn’t be mourning the needless death of millions of our fellow countrymen resulting from some massive terrorist attack. I just don’t think that with a President McCain terrorists would be permitted to once again attack our homeland. I just don't feel the same way about a possible Obama presidency. I think just the opposite scenario is more likely to take place and would be a direct result of both his leadership inexperience as well as his blatant ignorance of foreign policy. And lets be honest here, being pacifists is what Democrats do. They’re always just a little too quick to turn on their own country. This guy goes way beyond being dangerous, and his presidency could quite possibly result in events that this country may very well never recover from. His is a future that is something I am simply not willing to curse my children with. I don’t want to end up being in the position of mourning the death of my loved ones and finding myself saying if only I had voted for McCain.
