I do hate to have it seem as if I go on and on about Barry "Almighty" to the point where, I suppose, I may be accused of sounding like that proverbial broken record but ya know …. I just can’t seem to shake the very deep-seated reservations as well as some very worrisome concerns that I have regarding the direction in which this country is about to embark come inauguration day. And after hearing Barry’s most recent press conferences, I’m feeling even more uneasy about him than I was before. Other than those of you with whom I converse with on somewhat of a regular basis, I simply do not feel that same sense of urgency that I myself feel exists anywhere out there in the general public. And to me that’s somewhat unnerving. Now I know that on more than one occasion it could be said that I have gone off on somewhat of a rant. Having said that though, I feel that they were honest attempts to focus attention on the less than discreet efforts going on everyday to push this country farther and farther to the left. I see this country as getting ever closer to that point where, before many of us may even realize it, each and every one of us will come to owe our very existence to the whim of some under worked, over paid bureaucrat working out of some cubicle in some new agency that’s part of some vast bureaucracy that’s now part of Barry’s newly expanded, self perpetuating Federal Government. Socialism and the burning desire of the Liberal Democrats to get us there as expeditiously as possible and through the use of any means necessary, quite literally scares the crap out of me. They are determined to dramatically alter our economy, the lifeblood for our standing in the World, by constantly decrying the evils of Capitalism and calling for more and more government involvement as the only means of ensuring economic stability. What's even scarier, is that they are dangerously close to being able to do all that they wish with nothing being in the way to stop them. While the antics and the purpose of these self proclaiming defenders of the little guy should be obvious to just about anybody with half a brain, it would appear, as evidenced by our last two elections, that a majority of Americans either don’t see, or choose not to see, what it is that I see as exactly going on here. It would seem then, that I just don’t seem to see eye to eye with a great deal of my fellow countrymen.

So…..since I don’t seem to be in agreement with the majority of people in this country, does that necessarily mean that I should just shut up and sit down and to quit rocking the boat? Or…do I continue to do my best to sound the alarm in the hope that enough will eventually come to their senses and see what it is that I see? Presently it can be said, I think, that the alarm is simply falling on deaf ears, inevitably being drowned out by the voices coming from the Liberal Democrats and being amplified by their cheering section in our completely trustworthy and totally unbiased news media. Why is it, exactly, that people are so willing to shoot the messengers who are only doing their best to sound the alarm, while at the same time exhibiting a willingness, even a eagerness, to believe absolutely everything that the Democrats continue to tell them. Is it because so many are displaying the characteristic signs of the brainwashing that took place and continues to take place today, everyday in our wonderful public school system and to an even greater extent in our supposed institutions of higher learning? Or is it me, am I the one on the wrong track here and proving nothing more than that I’m a raving lunatic and some crazed chicken little running around shouting the sky is falling when it reality it is firmly affixed in place? I THINK NOT!! What I do think is that people are being constantly bombarded from the Left in the news they watch and read, in the television shows they watch along with the movies they see all reinforcing the crap they are taught in our public school as early as kindergarten and followed through with in our venerable institutions of higher learning mentioned earlier. Everything working in conjunction to insure that the "proper" conclusion is arrived at. That conclusion, for those of you who might not know, is to push society as a whole farther and farther to the left. Toward that ever elusive … UTOPIA.

I do not understand what makes a substantial number of us, who are so fortunate to live in this blessed country, this land of opportunity, to become perfectly content in allowing the government to supply him/her with all the necessities of life, removing any and all of the responsibilities we each should have for the life that we have. Is that really what we Americans have become? And, I really don’t understand people who fail to see, or simply choose to ignore, all the terrific good this country has done and continues to do all over the world. I find those that preach hatred of a country responsible for doing so much good for so many absolutely disgusting and beneath contempt and they should be condemned at every opportunity. And, of course, we all know from whom the loudest voices advocating such hatred come. For the most part it comes from those who have the most, and have the least to complain about that serve as the source of pure anti-Americanism and hatred of their own country. And, more often than not all the noise is coming from people who, were it not for the fact that they are blessed to live in this country, would be sitting on a street corner somewhere begging for someone to toss a coin into their can, because they don’t have the skills or the brains to do much else.

So, what can we expect to take place in the next four years? Will it be for the betterment of all Americans or, as more likely will happen, of a select few? Will Peter be robbed to pay Paul or will both be permitted to take advantage of the opportunities available to better themselves without either being forced to pay for the other?  The reason I ask is that Barry is only the latest in a long list of many Liberals (Democrats) who continue to quietly urge upon like-minded supporters, the warped notion that national policy should have more to do with punishing the nation for it’s sins than to be for building a brighter and more secure future for all.  To Liberals, the main focus of "reform" is to compensate those groups, who in the Democrats opinion, have suffered as a consequence of cruel policies and customs of the past.  With so many unanswered questions remaining about the intended goals of the next administration and with so little confidence in those who claim that solutions to all existing problems must be based on and all about "fairness", nothing but more economic uncertainties will be created.  These individuals continue to advocate one thing in private and another in public. And still I continue to hear zero specifics and only vague generalities, and see only ridiculous knee-jerk reactions, but nothing that appears as even remotely resembling viable solutions. And obviously no thought or consideration is being given to any of the potential consequences of any of the actions being considered and that may very well end up being taken. I’m very fearful of future Democrat shotgun approaches and hair-brained tactics in any and all things economic. Things are going to get much worse before they get even a little better. And with the Democrats in charge don’t hold your breath that you’ll see things get turned around and start to get better any time soon, because it is simply not in their best interest to do so. They will continue to string along the less fortunate with empty promises and continue to simply take from those among us who, at present, are too few in numbers to stop them.

Barry "Almighty" isn’t even sitting in the Oval Office yet and I’m hearing more and more talk about how it’s appears that more than likely he is going to turn out to be much more of a "centrist" than what might have been expected. BASED ON WHAT EXACTLY? Barry’s questionable character flaws being what they are, I’m not quite ready to join in what appears to be a collective sigh of relief. You see, Barry has consistently had this little difficulty in the area of truth telling. Now when one looks at those that he is now surrounding himself with, all you see are retreads from administrations past who in large part possess pretty much the character deficiencies as Barry himself and are quite the experts when it comes to the fine art of deception. Barry and his cohorts are nowhere near deserving of, at least at this particular point in time, any amount of trust.

There is a reason that I’m saying that the economy is not necessarily where our attention should be focused right now. What we need to be doing is to be looking past all the smoke and mirror nonsense that Barry and his boys are throwing up which serves only as a means to distract us from what their true intentions are. What they truly have in mind is to execute their plan to massively expand the size and scope of the Federal Government by, in effect, creating an economic disaster the consequences of which will have the American public literally begging for more and more government involvement. Instead of buying into all the scare tactics, Americans need to show a little backbone and start marshalling the forces of commonsense and work feverishly to do their best to prevent this band of notorious ideologues from successfully completing their mission. We need to agressively push for Capitalism to be allowed to flourish aided by "lower" taxes not higher and "less" government involvement not more.

Now that we have in Barry "Almighty" a devout Socialist as our President-elect it will be a daily battle to try to keep him and his fellow Democrats in check. I mean he is still the most Pro-Abortion, Most Pro-Gay Marriage, Most Pro-Tax Increase, Least Free-Market, Most Anti-War on Terror, and the Least Pro-Military President in our history. The danger he represents to the very fabric of this country cannot and must not be underestimated. He wishes to force profound changes on the society of this country and if allowed to put in place, or to stack, a federal judiciary made up of radical leftwing appointees there will no limit to the amount of damage that can be done. In the end he will have succeeded in having a significant impact on our society making it unrecognizable for generations.

We cannot permit ourselves to be so distracted by our economic woes that Barry would then have more than ample opportunity to slip things past us that would be under our radar. We cannot afford to be lulled into having that warm, fuzzy feeling that a false sense of security brings. If we do we’re just liable to come to with a knife in our back. I simply cannot shake this feeling I have of impending doom, and I refuse to buy any of what Barry is peddling. I’m not quite ready to jump on the Barry "Almighty" bandwagon only to find out the wagon belongs to nothing more than a snake oil salesman.

• Increased domestic spending on numerous new entitlement programs to "assist" the less fortunate
• Assist in the expansion of Union membership through use of coercion
• Reduced spending in all areas for the military and on national defense issues to make more monies available for desired social spending
• Abortion on demand (at any time during the pregnancy, and at tax payer expense. No limits to be placed on abortions of any kind)
• Abortions available for those under 18 (without parental notification)
• More condoms and contraceptives made available to those in public schools (includes all grades)
• Higher taxes, we must go MUCH HIGHER with additional revenue not to be spent covering everyday expenses of government operations but instead as a method to redistribute wealth to the less fortunate in an effort to "ensure" a far more equitable and "fair" system of taxation.
• Socialized medicine as a means of lowering costs, even though the quality of care may be lessened through the use of certain services not being readily available
• Terrorism must be treated as a law enforcement issue not as a military one we must be careful not to flaunt the military power of the United States. The United Nations must be allowed a much greater say in the defense of this country
• There must be an abrupt end to The War on Terror as it is nothing more than an incredible and needless waste of money
• The immediately closing of Guantanamo Bay detention center
• Appointment of many more progressive Judges to assist in much needed social changes required for the betterment of our society
• Gay marriage legalization enacted under the guise of "fairness"
• Gun Control legislation enacted under the guise of "public safety"
• Reduced personal property rights in favor of "community" needs
• The importance of allowing felons and illegal aliens the right to vote
• A much needed return to the Fairness Doctrine. Talk radio must be silenced or at least severely limited in its availability to communicate to the general public
• A policy of containment toward governments of Iran, North Korea, Syria and others. No further use or threat to use military force
• Putting the rights of terrorists on an equal footing with citizens of this country. Protecting the Constitutional rights of the supposed terrorists
• Reduced spending for Intelligence gathering Agencies while placing strict limits on methods used for the gathering of intelligence
• More environmental activism, "Global Warming" seen as a viable tool
• Enactment of CAP and Trade legislation as a means of adding to government coffers
• Positively No new oil refineries, or domestic oil exploration, reinstate moratorium on off shore drilling
• Massive alternative fuel legislation that will increase the government’s take on each gallon of gas plus have the "added benefit" of encouraging public conservation
• Positively No new Nuclear Power Plants allowed
• Complete removal of Religion from the public square

My unidentified source is not sure whether they will attempt to seek and to make public knowledge any further information. However they will definitely continue on as part of Obama’s transition team because to do otherwise would cause suspicion and attract unneeded attention to themselves and quite possibly result in placing their family members in much greater risk. If more information is made available to me I will make sure to disseminate it to as wide a public audience as possible. Even if this individual is unable to obtain any further information, from what they have already managed to identify and expose, they should be considered a national hero.

If this last election managed to accomplish anything, it was to show all of us the ease with which today's "unbiased" news media can manipulate those among us with, how an I put this, rather questionable intelligence. Through the use of tactics consisting of distortion, camouflage and misdirection when speaking of all things Obama, the media presented an image of the man that was needed at the time for no other reason than to conceal the real Obama. There are those, of course, who needed to know nothing more about the man than that he was black, to them nothing else really mattered. But, to those of us that remained unconvinced, we saw an electorate that was either too lazy, too stupid or simply too disinterested to care anything about going in search of the actual truth. Truth that was being hidden from us about the man and instead witnessed those who found it much easier to merely accept as fact the media propaganda as an acceptable substitute. At that point we were only too happy to march off to the polls and vote for good old, true "Blue" American, Barry Almighty. Well, the media and all those they managed to bamboozle got their wish, but unfortunately, the rest of us are going to have to live with the consequences of their bad decision. By the way, has anybody seen Barry Almighty recently? No, I thought not.

And still the media continues in its attempt at manipulation through the constant reporting of gloom and doom and the spinning of all these bailout out plans. Focusing on bailout plans, especially the plan being mentioned for the Big 3, which should be obvious to anyone with an ounce of brain power as nothing more thinly veiled attempts to bailout unions that supported Barry Almighty in the last election. For me, the main question is why should any of my hard earned money go to these sorely mismanaged companies who are now so entrenched in a financial swamp thoroughly of their own making. By kowtowing to ever increasingly outrageous union demands, they have managed to dig themselves into a Grand Canyon size hole. Can someone, anyone give me a reason why that auto worker who is making $75 per hour shouldn’t be asked to sacrifice just a little so he/she can keep his/her job. Why has it got to be up to me to bail out the company he/she works for so that he/she can still keep making a salary that’s 5 times what mine is? How about if they just made $50 per hour instead of $75? I mean sure maybe he/she would only be making $50 and not $75 per hour but hey, at least he/she might still have a job, right? But I guess that’s not enough, he/she has to keep their job AND that $75 per hour. Honestly, I don’t give a hoot if the Big Three becomes the Big Two, the Big One or the Big Zero I really don’t! Personally, I’m all in favor of forcing a little fiscal responsibility on them. Now the Democrats say they want a business plan from the Big Three before there can be any talk of a bailout. Well I’ve got the perfect plan and it goes like this, Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, tear up all those ridiculous contracts with the UAW and get rid of all those stupid government regulations that accomplish absolutely nothing except to cripple the industry. I’d be willing to bet then that you’d see these guys get things turned around pretty darn quick. And I ask again, where in the world is the Barry Almighty as our economy embarks on its little sleigh ride to Hell. Maybe we should put out an APB for the all-powerful enlightened one. Where exactly has Barry Almighty been hiding? Most likely, happily living somewhere in luxury waiting and watching for the whole economy to implode so that he and his big government supporting cohorts can implement their plans of a massive government takeover of a substantial portion of our private economy. Through the continuous use of various scare tactics their plan is to convince just enough of the less intelligent among us that the "only" way out of this mess is through greater government involvement and control.

Just what is it about the American people these days that makes them, at least appear to be, so happily content to vote for people who wish to do nothing more than to enslave as many of them as possible to the Federal Government? Is it simply ignorance or does go it go much deeper than that? Have they actually come to believe all of the Democrat garbage about our country that they hear and read from our illustrious news media? A majority of the American electorate has descended to the point of becoming nothing more than mentally challenged as they continue to accept the mind-numbing drivel from Democrat elected officials, thinking it some twisted from of the truth regarding matters of extreme importance. The absolute ignorance that is on constant display by those that could normally be considered fairly intelligent people is mind boggling. They continue to have no idea what it is they have done by electing Obama. But I’d be willing to bet that in less than six month’s time those who did vote for Barry Almighty will be denying they ever did, beause they as well as those of us who did not will know a lot more about him and it won’t be pretty.  But I won't tell them I told you so because I figure I'll be much too busy trying to hold onto my wallet.

Wishing to add my voice to the chorus of others I would like to reiterate the fact that if the Republicans are going to stand any chance at winning future elections then the time to grow that much needed backbone would be now. The Democrats must be left to fly solo in their endeavor to expand government and Republicans must make it crystal clear to the people at every opportunity exactly who it is that wishes to destroy our economy and to crush the rights of the individual. It is time for them to stand together on the side of the American people and to rally against every bailout plan, every attempt at a tax increase, every plan to increase the cost of energy or any other Democrat plan that will expand the size of government or increase the burden, even one iota, placed onto the people by the Democrats. Republicans must make it plainly visible to the American people just who it is that is behind the drive for higher taxes, for higher energy bills and who it is that wants to bailout the unions under the guise of disgraceful bailout plans to "corporations." They must also unite against a Democrat agenda that has the government assuming increasingly more control over our personal lives and against any and all plans that increase the numbers of those among us who will fall prey to the financing of Obama’s attempted program of wealth redistribution that will have such an adverse effect on our economy. They must also present and maintain a united front against those who wish to leave the war on terror only half completed. And they must always be at the ready to expose the dangers of Democrat policies of pacifism and appeasement when it comes to issues of national security and the combating of the terrorists. Republicans must form the barrier between the United States and the United Nations to ensure that under an Obama administration we continue to maintain the right to defend ourselves from attack and not be hindered in our need or desire to attack those who wish to bring the conflict to our shores.

They cannot and must not even for a moment consider taking the approach that by lending their support to any particular bill that that will somehow alter or improve the outcome or lessen the consequences of that bill. Using the excuse of voting for a bill that would have been much worse but for their support will no longer fly, nor should it. They cannot afford to compromise on anything, not on any legislation, not on any vote, not on anything. They cannot say something is wrong and then turn around a vote for it, there is simply no way that that can be justified and it does nothing to win back the support from those that are effected by a bad piece of legislation. Because once Republicans vote "for" any tax increase, any bailout plan or any cut in defense spending the Democrats will have them.  Republicans will have handed the Democrats a ready made excuse and a weapon with whch to use to club them over the head.  By allowing Democrats to deflect all or some of the blame while at the same time placing equal blame on the Republicans and allowing themselves to make the false claim of it all being done in the spirit of some weird view of "bipartisanship." Because it will be at that point where the Republicans will have lost the right to lay claim to the moral high ground and make themselves no different than the Democrats and irrelevant to the voters. They must be willing to define themselves as being in stark contrast to the Democrats on every front. They need to be the day to the Democrat’s night. They must stand strong and "united" and not allow themselves to be intimidated and not allow the Democrats to peel away any from their ranks to support Democrat proposals. They must resort to the very same tactics employed by Democrats of the past and employed by Obama, Reid and Pelosi most recently.

Republicans must start laying the foundation now in preparation for elections in 2010. They cannot afford to wait one day if they wish to be in the position of salvaging any chance whatsoever of having an impact of any consequence regarding the future of this country. If they do attempt to compromise or to get along, the Republican Party as we know it will become just another piece of American history and end up with very little to say about the direction this country takes and about what the future may hold for us.

In the Democrat created economic "crises" of the past, Democrats have loved to come out railing against the haves on behalf of the have-nots and to create the "illusion" of a recovery through myriad of alphabet-soup agencies, frantic activities and silly, mind-numbing pep talks. Any of that sound familiar? Obama’s plan very closely mirrors ploys instigated by Democrats past, but with just a slight twist. The main theme of the Obama plan is to "appear", at least, to present the image that he truly has a plan to "get the economy back on track." In all actuality his plan consists of nothing more than for the government to become the sole proprietor of the whole of the U.S. economy. What he wants to do is to create "czars", as a way for him and the Democrat controlled Congress to micro-manage every facet of our economy right down to the price one is liable to pay for any goods or services. Obama’s sole purpose in life is to drive our economy right into the dirt while at the same time doing his best to at least appear to be doing just the opposite.

Obama wants to appoint a Tech Czar, who would have broad authority to develop policy, elevating high-tech issues to the cabinet level in a major recalibration of the government’s approach to regulating the communications sector. The move would have substantial implication for the FCC, an independent agency that could be answerable to a new layer of bureaucracy or bolstered by it, depending on political circumstances. Ah, can anybody say there goes my First Amendment rights?

Obama wants to appoint a Climate Czar who would have the responsibility for shaping U.S. and World policy on addressing the nonsensical idea of manmade global climate change. This position would oversee collaboration between the Environmental Protection Agency, the Interior Department and other agencies that would play a key role in reducing the emission of greenhouse gases.

Obama wants to appoint an Energy Czar who would manage the country’s energy transformation to a low carbon economy. Energy Czars of the past never really quite lived or performed up to expectations, but the might Obama will make sure past mistakes are not repeated, RIGHT! The Energy Czar would be responsible for implementing the ambitious plan to cut U.S. greenhouse gas emission, chiefly carbon dioxide produced by burning fossil fuels, by 80 percent by 2050. Can you say, "WOW, my electric bill is how much?" He would also be in charge of getting those one million plug-in hybrid cars on the road by 2015. By the way the technology for that, we haven’t got yet. Whoops, sound like a job for the Tech Czar.

Last but definitely not least Obama wants to appoint a Car Czar to get the government into the car business. Give me a break! So now the government will be involved in every step of the process from design to determination of price. That’s what we need by golly! The Car Czar would lead a team that would consider policies to "help" the auto industry. I guess by appointing a Car Czar we can expect all cars post 2009, to be: utterly gas-fuel independent, will come in collapsible and expandable models as families grow and change and any number of other silly notions of what cars ought to be.

All this amounts to is nothing more than smoke and mirrors to fool a gullible public while providing both cover and  a means for the government to worm its way deeper and deeper into the very foundation of our economy. Because as with anything else, once you’ve destroyed the foundation that which it supports will simply collapse. And that is exactly what we’re in for and it is a very scary proposition. Obama wishes that we all become completely reliant on government, his government and he’ll let nothing stand in his way. Economic prosperity must be completely destroyed if he and his fellow Democrats are to have any hope of accomplishing their stated goals and solidifying their power. We can all wish that come 2010 we will of be sufficient numbers to at least attempt to turn back some of the damage they will have had the opportunity to have created by then, but I’m not so sure. At some point there will be that infamous point of no return, that point in time where no matter how many of us band together the damage done will be much too severe to ever turn back.  No one knows when that point will be reached and we may not even realize we’ve got there until it’s too late. So we need to band together NOW, and start working to turn things back or to at least work to hinder things from going much further NOW!  It’s time to roll up our sleeves and get to work before it’s too late!   What we’re dealing with here is something far worse than the worst malignant type of cancer imaginable.  So the sooner we get to work on the treatment the better the prognosis!

The evidence that Obama was quickly recognized and considered as one of their own, and something that should warm the hearts of all those who chose to vote for Obama and make them extremely proud of their decision, are all the loud accolades and warm congratulations that continue to pour in from every crack pot, tin horn dictator, despot, European Socialist and even the leader of the Russian Communist Party. One of the first to offer his heart felt congratulations to our President-elect was none other that that advocate of world peace and unity, the highly esteemed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Of course, not to be out done though was another pillar of world peace, Socialist Dictator Hugo Chavez who was also very quick in congratulating our new president. Gee folks, welcome to the Third World. The leader of the Russian Communist Party offered this little jewel of a statement; "All Republican presidents have always defended national interests, ignoring the interests of other countries of the world. The new US president cannot but understand that it is impossible to seek and find answers to many global issues without the participation of such a great country as Russia."  Excuse me, but isn't our President supposed to most concerned with the interests of this country?

I could be wrong, but I believe that even Osama bin Laden offered up his congratulations. Boy, now doesn’t that give you a warm fuzzy feeling all over about our new president. Can you possibly imagine the direction the world would take with an America sitting on the sidelines? Or worse taking the side of one of these incredible nut jobs who are now congratulating him and actively contributing to a rapidly deteriorating world stability? What we may have building here is, quite possibly, the worst foreign policy debacle since Chamberlain thought he could talk to Hitler. According to Obama, countries lead by these despots and devout socialists are to be treated as America’s equals. Earth to Obama, Earth to Obama come in please….the United States of America has no equals! Of course after he gets through trashing our economy, our military and whatever else he can destroy, we will end up as much less than equal to every third world, backward country on the face of the planet. Being submissive to despots and tin horn dictators does nothing to enhance the standing of America in the world, it only serves to bring us down to their level. Oh and what a fun place that will be.

So I guess this is what all those Obama supporters were hoping for. Although for the life of me I can’t quite figure out why. Doesn’t it make more sense to help bring freedom to the world with the hope of bringing those countries struggling, up to be our equal instead of tearing this country down so we fall to their level? With freedom comes a higher standard of living, socialism’s with its limitations of freedom only breeds misery and abject poverty. Which makes more sense. Under an Obama presidency America will cease to be an advocate for the advancement of freedoms throughout the world. Instead, it may very well turn out to be a force for just the opposite. The very idea of that should not be acceptable to any American, even the boneheads who voted for the head bonehead, Obama. By submitting to the wishes of these "honorable" men in such a "honorable" institution as the United Nations, America will become a mere shadow of its former self as the beacon of freedom to all the peoples of the world. But at the same time it will show them what can happen when people possessing great freedom willingly give it away and allow their country to descend into a place inhabited inhabited only by the sleaziest, and most corruptly lead countries.

Now with at least four years of an Obama presidency staring us in the face it’s time to seriously take into account the definite uncertainties and the potentially very dire consequences that may very well be lying in store for us. But at the same time, I think, we must take just a second to analyze how it was that we allowed ourselves to be convinced that his idea of bigger government is better government is such a good deal. I’m not talking to or about the millions of people who voted for him for no other reason than his skin color, because at this point it would matter very little. I am speaking to and about all those who were actually convinced by all the rhetoric, pretty sounding thou it was, into thinking that it portrayed an accurate description of what the role the Federal Government should be, especially when we’re talking about its involvement into each and every one of our lives. It would seem that enough Americans are now convinced that the Federal Government has become all-powerful, even though in reality it has not and can never be. These very same people seem to think, no matter how irrational that it may sound, that our government is responsible for natural catastrophes, that it can effect climate change, one way or the other and that somehow that it can miraculously transform primitives half way around the World, who have been fighting and killing each other for centuries can be made into freedom aspiring patriots who can at least sit down and have civil discussions about their disagreements. In all reality it is impossible for the government to succeed in any of these endeavors no matter what those spewing the rhetoric may have to say. Don’t get me wrong, I am very much in favor of the War in Iraq, which is a war I see as one purely being one of self- preservation for this country and for our very way of life. Having said that, it is the region of the world that is without a doubt the most backward on the whole of the planet and where we can effect the least amount of change.  But it is also where we "must" maintain a willingness and a determination to keep our alliance with Israel strong and come to her defense if need be.

Over the years, and evidenced even more obviously in this last election with all of its flowery rhetoric, Democrats going all the way back to FDR have done their best to convince a majority of Americans that it is the State who is responsible for employing the unemployed, ensuring adequate pensions for all and for "forcing" businesses to operate fairly. What has ended up happening here is that the Federal Government has come to assume the responsibilities of not only the family, but also of the church and of the states. The end result of all this is that you now have the American people now in a position where they have become less self-reliant and less responsible because the Government has absolved them of their "duty" to manage their own affairs when it comes to the basic necessities of life: to plan for old age, to get a job and to keep it, and to provide for their's and their family's medical care. And just how is it that those of us who choose to be responsible and attempt to be self-reliant are very close to becoming unable to do just that because, through exorbitant taxes, we’ve been made responsible for all those who choose not to be. I am only my brother’s keeper up to a point. The time at which he ceases to be willing to help himself, is when my obligation to him ENDS!

Governor Palin,

Let me start by expressing my sincere appreciation and gratitude to you for all that you did throughout this campaign. Doing battle day in and day out to advance the conservative cause, I know must have been difficult, but it never showed. Watching you standing before cheering crowds praising this country and telling the people that our country is not the one being described on daily basis by the Obama/Biden team as one that is so mean, angry or a place where we're all clinging to our guns and our Bibles. You did us all proud. Thank you for going above and beyond by allowing not only yourself buy your family as well to be placed under the microscope of public scrutiny that always comes, for Republicans that is, when seeking public office. As really the only standard bearer of the conservative philosophy out there this time around, we were all glad to watch as you steadfastly defended those principles from day one.

Throughout the campaign from beginning to end, you represented yourself with dignity and class while consistently demonstrating the character, honesty and integrity one so rarely finds in politicians these days and which were so sorely lacking in your opponents. But this letter is not about them it is about you and that which you brought to this race. You were a breath of fresh air and the most stalwart conservative anywhere in sight and…..a wonderful role model for my daughter. In you she saw a woman who is bright, capable and able to more than keep up with the big boys and at times even being out in front of them.

I must admit that when Senator McCain selected you as his running mate I was somewhat less than enthused. But, as time went by and I continued to hear more about you and from you my opinion quickly changed. I became a fan in very short order. I came to see you as exactly the right choice and as time went on you only proved me more right.

While I never had the pleasure or the opportunity to see you in person, I did my best to catch you at every opportunity on television. I was impressed with your speeches and always thought you handled yourself very well during the various interviews you had even though some of them were designed to be nothing more than gotcha sessions. I was especially impressed during your debate with Joe Biden, personally I thought you cleaned his clock.

In closing I want to briefly mention all this slandering of you that seems to be going on in our own party. I’m sure you know why it’s going on, they are scared of you. Good, keep them scared I’m already working on my "Palin in 2012" bumper stickers.

Survey Says………BARACK OBAMA!  What Americans have without a doubt done, is to elect the single most dangerous, most radical and least competent President in our history. This guy represents even a more far-reaching danger to the sanctity of this country than even Jimmy Carter did, and that's saying something. Carter was nothing more than a pompous boob who couldn’t even get any of his proposals passed through a Congress controlled by his fellow Democrats. Obama, on the other hand, is a far more dangerous individual in that he is an arrogant ideologue with socialist convictions that run deep, very deep. Even worse, he is an arrogant ideologue wishing to implement his freedom limiting agenda and who will be waiting with pen in hand at the ready to rubber stamp every left wing piece of legislation having anything to with gay marriage, gun control, the banning of free speech or cuts in defense spending, just to name a few, that crosses his desk. He comes into office armed with a philosophy and with a single minded purpose to vastly increase not only the size and scope of the Federal Government, but also the depth to which that government can involve itself and worm its way even deeper into the lives of everyday Americans. A President Obama represents a tremendous danger not only to the individual rights of the citizens of this country but to our Constitution as well. He feels entitled to rob Americans of every last penny of their disposable income they have through any number of typical Democrat schemes because he thinks that the government can more wisely spend it than those working hard to earn it and because we Americans are just too selfish. Besides raising taxes, he also wants to "encourage" Americans to use less energy, including gasoline. His method for doing this, higher prices, much higher prices, accomplished through the limiting of any new drilling, cap and trade type legislation and taxes. His main goal here is the same one that liberal Democrats have had going all the back to FDR, ruin as many lives as possible by forcing as many people as possible into the position of becoming totally dependent on the government for their very existence. What better way to ensure servitude from the masses and to ensure you get their vote than by enslaving them to government handouts and to literally control every aspect of their lives. It’s really quite pathetic. And his desire to inflict socialized medicine on this country in all actuality is nothing more than another shady scheme perpetrated by the Democrats to gain another means of assuming absolute control of the lives of the American people.

And his foreign policy agenda is just as frightening as his domestic one. Advocating massive, highly visible cuts in defense spending, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq, closing Gitmo allowing hundreds of murdering terrorists to return to the battlefield to kill more of our troops and sitting down with other terrorist sympathizers without preconditions are just a few examples of Obama’s foreign policy priorities. and if the Jews who voted for him, 69 percent of them, thought they had a friend in Obama they were very sadly mistaken.  He is no friend of Israel and if, God forbid, Israel should be attacked, that 69 percent that voted for Obama have sadly just helped to cut the throat of their homeland. His agenda reveals a President Obama as not only reckless in a Bill Clinton kind of way, but dangerously inexperienced and a clear and present danger to the safety and the national security of this country. Further evidence regarding his rather dubious shortcomings as well as his obvious weaknesses in foreign policy is his ridiculous and idiotic notion that before American can be permitted to defend herself, America must first and foremost gain approval from the very disgustingly corrupt and obviously anti-American United Nations. His dangerous notion that the United Nations be permitted to dictate how this country may or may not defend itself is one of the more frightening aspects of Obama’s foreign policy thinking. Obama also possesses a less than enthusiastic approach to the killing of terrorists and in utilizing available technology required to combat them. He instead prefers to employ the more terrorist friendly methods of appeasement, pacifism and harsh sounding, though thoroughly empty, rhetoric that opens this country up to being vulnerable to a vast new array of various methods of attack the likes of which we have yet to experience leaving millions of us exposed to terrorist killers and quite possibly, DEAD!  We cannot and we must not allow him and his fellow Democrats to continue to place us into such a dangerous position, creating unnecessary risk of life as well as exposing our already shaky economy to the possibility of yet another terrorist attack. We should not allow ourselves to be forced into the position where we are forced to risk our lives simply going to the grocery store or out to the movies because of his ignorance, incompetence and his need not to want to hurt the terrorists "feelings."

Dangerous times are lying ahead, make no mistake about it. We must stand strong against the forces that wish to make us their sacrificial lambs and who wish to drastically alter the face of this great nation. We must mobilize for the elections in 2010 to retake all, most or some of the losses we suffered this time around. We simply cannot lie down, as the Democrats would have us do!

Once again there will be something taking place in the White House not seen since it was last inhabited by yet another Democrat, all be it this time, most likely on a much grander scale. Blatantly sleazy characters will once again be roaming the halls of the people’s house and even more nauseating, they will be sitting in the Oval Office with their feet up on the furniture. Knowing that the likes of Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrahkan, Al Sharpton and venerable shake down artist, Jesse Jackson will be sitting around in the Oval Office all having a good laugh at the country’s expense, turns my stomach!

Well, the American people have spoken, but I am sorry, but I feel I must question not only their motives but also their sanity regarding the decision they came to. All the while knowing full well the character of the individuals that Obama would be welcoming in with open arms and would chose to surround himself with. A group composed of some of the sleaziest and outright bigoted characters any of us have seen in quite some time, the same people that he has continually chosen to associated himself with for years. To have voted for this empty-headed and very dangerous guy should be an embarrassment to every moron who thought it was a good idea. Evidence exposing Obama’s vision of where he wants to take this country should scare the be-jesus out of every single red-blooded American. Especially when you see that he chooses to continue to surround himself with "people" with highly questionable motives and worse if he allows himself to manipulated or influenced in any way by these "people " of little or no character. It’s happened before.

In reality, all we’ve really managed to elect in place of a president is nothing more than a glorified rubber stamp. A rubber stamp for every cockamamie, Socialist idea that Reid and Pelosi along with their merry band of liberals can come up with, and the more so the better. Better hold onto your wallets, and purses too, because it’s going to be a mighty rough and very costly ride!

Last night there was an attempt made by a majority of "Americans" to mortally wound democracy in this country with the result of this action leaving American democracy on life support and quite possibly at death’s door. You see, these "American" people, in their infinite wisdom, successfully accomplished something not done in over 200 years. They have welcomed in with open arms a true harbinger of Socialism as President of this great country. So now it is then that Democracy, at least as we have come to know it in this country, is clinging to life, and may yet slip quietly into the night quite possibly to be lost forever. If it does leave this world it will not with a bang but with a whimper at the ripe old age of 219 years. And if it does leave us we must never allow it to be forgotten, it must live on in the memories of those of us who were fortunate enough to have experienced first hand its blessing with all the freedoms and individual rights it provided for us. Born on March 4, 1789, it was thought by all those who brought it into this world that it could quite possibly live forever, and that is what they hoped. Unfortunately, it may not be meant to be. The weapon of choice was really quite obvious, the citizens, who up to this point allowed themselves to be governed under democracy and the Rule of Law, got lazy and neglectful, truly unaware of what it was they had been blessed with wanted more, much more. Wanting government to do more and more for them they were willing to take a chance and to sacrifice not only their freedom but the freedom of future generations. It just didn’t seem too high a price to pay if that’s what was needed in order for them to receive what it was they now wanted the government to provide. Now sadly, those yet to born may never have the opportunity to personally experience all of the wondrous freedoms and opportunities afforded to all that which individuals have the privilege to enjoy when living in a true democracy. All they may end up with to rely on will be stories told to them by their parents, or others, who were fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to have been blessed to experience something that was truly unique in this world. Those stories will be the only way they will have of ever knowing what’s it’s like to be free and independent form a government that has grown oppressive.

You don’t need a CSI team to discover further evidence that reveals the method of this vicious attack on American democracy. It was committed through the reckless behavior of the people themselves who went out and made a conscious decision to literally abandon that which was brilliantly conceived so many years ago and chose quite simply to attack it as a failure. By demonstrating a willingness, almost an eagerness, to become ever more dependent on government, voters seemed very comfortable in their ignorance, not really thinking it necessary to expend the time and energy required, or to bother inquiring about the qualifications, motives, experience or governing philosophy of those they would come to choose as the leaders. For many the choice was simple, it mattered no more than picking the right skin color. And they were equally diligent when it came to questioning the motives of those who failed so miserably in providing them, the voters, with the requisite information one depends on to make critical choices during important elections. Motives that should have appeared as suspect and completely transparent to even the most casual of observers. Therefore, being happily oblivious to all things important they marched off to the polls and dutifully voted as required to in order to guarantee them all the promised government goodies they would now be receiving.

And, so it is that we now find ourselves having arrived at a time and place in our history that I seriously doubt our Founders ever imagined would have been possible. Yet, here we are.

I’m sure people will come to realize that when something like this is so close to dying it leaves open the possibility of being replaced. And with a President Obama we know exactly what that will be. What will fill that possible void or vacuum will be a pure and unadulterated version of Socialism. Socialism, a system of government that has failed everywhere it’s been tried. And it may not be over night, more likely it will be a somewhat slow process completed in such as way so most Americans may not even notice it happening. But it will be. And if allowed to happen, there may be no way of ever going back.

Or, how about these prophetic words of warning from Abraham Lincoln:

"At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it? Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.

At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."

Well, what will the next few hours reveal about Americans? I’m almost too scared to ask. I have this feeling of impending doom, and I pray that I am wrong. I pray enough Americans will see through Obama and see him for the charlatan that he is. But if most Americans are like some that I work with then I fear things may not end well for this country when this night is over. On my way home from work I heard story after story of voter fraud and attempted voter intimidation and thought, where am I in some third world country? What is this overwhelming need Democrats have to cheat. If their agenda is one that most Americans want then Democrats should have no worries. And why is it only in instances where Democrats lose is it because of Republican cheating, but when Republicans lose, the Democrats are so offended when it’s even implied that they cheated, even if there is conclusive proof?

I suppose it shouldn’t be much longer before some of the results will be known, and I’m sure our unbiased and completely trustworthy news media won’t try anything funny like declaring Obama the winner before all the polls are even closed, no they would never do anything like that. I only hope that if they do people are not fooled and go out there and vote, vote for America, vote for security and vote for John McCain. I wish him, as well as the rest of us much luck, I have a feeling both he and us are going to need it.

Here we are on the verge of this the most important election in the lifetime of so many of us, and I am somewhat unnerved by the shear number of Americans who have allowed themselves to be used as nothing more than pawns by Obama. They have allowed themselves to be completely convinced into believing that which Barack Obama proclaims as change will actually come close to accomplishing all that he has promised it will. The sad thing is, that all his rhetoric about change is just that, simple rhetoric, and will not accomplish anything even remotely close to what he has promised. It’s all smoke and mirrors and consists of nothing that has not been tried before, and more often than not with disastrous results. His whole campaign has been nothing but one grand con job, a con job on a massive scale, but still a con job. The ignorance that has been on constant display by so many compounded by a media always standing at the ready to the point of being eager to manipulate it and to take advantage of it is the primarily why it is that we find ourselves in this very scary predicament of ending up with a President Obama and with the Democrats in possession of 60 seats in the Senate.

To say that I am praying that McCain can pull this thing out at the last minute would be an understatement. The potential consequences lying in wait for us from an Obama victory would be both long lasting as well as catastrophic. And if all the polls are in fact correct and Obama does win, well then, November 4, 2008 will be looked back on as one of the darkest days in American history and as a day when things truly changed in America, and not at all for the better. It will be marked by all freedom loving Americans as the day the rights of the individual died and a new era of government expansion began.
