We are becoming, and I suppose some would say we already are, no longer a nation where all are working toward a common goal with all 300+ million parts each performing in a way that allows each of to use our own God given talents for the betterment of all and sharing a common bond formed by a love of freedom and of country. They would say we are now nothing more than a group of individuals having nothing more in common with one another than the fact we all happen to share the same piece of real estate. We are no longer Americans, we all just simply live in place called America. The brainwashing of those now crying for a more powerful government began back in the 60s and carries forward to today through our illustrious public school system and our so called institutions of higher learning. Today, as for the last 40 years, people are being taught to literally hate their country. Is "BO"s plan to finally redefine Americanism the culmination of that years long effort? Because once that very thing is accomplished we will begin that long journey down that very steep and very slippery, and very dark, slope into the waiting arms of the "BO" version of an all powerful, all seeing and all knowing…..Federal Government. So, plainly stated, the end result of that phenomenon of which I speak, is the fact that "BO" is now doing his best to essentially alter the very definition of what it means to be an American. These days we are becoming much less a nation made up of responsible, self-reliant individuals and more one consisting of a hapless, lazy mob constantly with their hand out to the government and very content, even eager, to do so. "BO" and his comrades are utilizing their most reliable tools of choice from their arsenal of political weaponry in their drive to re-define what exactly it means to be an "American." Which begs the question, are we going to allow "Vladimir" Obama to hammer a stake through the heart of the rugged individualism and the deep abiding desire for freedom that form the very foundation of what it means to be an American. Where are the voices we should be hearing from those on our side saying no this is wrong and it mustt be allowed to stand?

In his effort force his views upon this country, "BO" must first redefine what it means to be American. He is attempting make being American synonymous with being European. Being European today can be defined today as one that is simply limp-wristed, government handout craving, being a defeatist, a pacifist and being more than just a little lazy. And being European is synonymous with those now so satisfied with allowing the government total control over their very existence. "BO" and the Democrats continue to do their best to perpetuate through their typical use of rhetoric in an attempt to create, as well as aggravate, a mythical class warfare in their effort to accelerate our deteriorating national condition. The have nots, or more precisely the too lazy to work crowd, continue to allow themselves to be exploited and manipulated by the Democrat Party as a means to "BO" and the Democrat’s end. These people are constantly being enabled by having their bad behavior actively encouraged by the members of the very same political party out to take advantage of them while, in all reality, doing nothing that would in any way actually advance their ability to improve their lives. There is a continual push by Liberal Democrats to foment an attitude, even a culture, where the government has become the expected entity ultimately responsible for the cradle to grave care for every single citizen of this country. With Welfare Reform now officially going the way of the do-do bird, thanks to the new policies designed to kill it being included in "BO"s stimulus bill, the states will now be actively encouraged to increase their welfare rolls as a means of receiving even more federal money. "BO" with his comrades in arms, the Democrat leaders in Congress, are now trying to make up for lost time since the Welfare Reform that was created by Republicans and reluctantly signed by Slick "Wille" back in the 90’s. "BO" is out to do his level best to create and entire generation of individuals completely reliant on the government regarding every single aspect of their lives.

Barack "Vladimir" Obama is not my president. He is nothing more to me than the type of man our Founders warned us about. He is the destroyer of freedom and the bringer of enslavement of the people to their government. Our Republic is quite possibly on the verge of being literally torn apart, by the man we are supposed to be able to rely on and depend on as our leader. We are now under the "leadership" of the most inept, as well as the most dangerous to our survival, individual in our history.

Why is it that more people don’t see this whole mess for exactly what it is? We have a congenital liar in the White House who has surrounded himself with bogus experts consisting of no talent, empty headed academics and bureaucrats, with Geithner serving as the perfect example, who have never run so much as your basic corner lemonade stand for a profit. To this bunch of eggheads and bunglers the word profit is nothing but a dirty six-letter word. They continue to do their absolute best to convince as many Americans as they can that the real reason we are in the economic situation that we now find ourselves in is simply because of all our evil corporations. Corporation that were allowed to run amuck freely taking advantage of the little guy just so that they could continue making more and more outrageous profits. In all reality nothing could be farther from the truth. The truth is far more sinister, with it revealing the true culprit as being those very same Democrats now claiming to be the only ones who can repair the damage, their damage. And their solution? Government ownership of the economy, that’s what. But until your average, guy on the street American opens his/her eyes and sees all this nonsense, this scheme based on complete fiction, for what it is, nothing is going to stop this little sleigh ride to Hell that has us all holding on for dear life. And now our favorite elfster, with "BO" right behind him, is seeking even more power, which would enable him to "regulate" non-bank financial companies like AIG. Where’s it going to stop?

But what I have even less tolerance for and even more hatred of are the corrupt politicians who think I’m so stupid that they assume they can look me in the eye, and tell me what they know is a bold faced lie and think I’m stupid enough to believe it. They seem to think that if that say something often enough and loud enough, we’ll all come to believe what it is they are saying. Now granted, we know that works with that 53 percent I spoke of earlier. A prefect example of this tactic is all this ballyhoo about these bonuses for AIG executives. Those very same bonuses, by the way, that every single one those stimulus supporting crooks now taking part in all the nonsensical and nearly hysterical protesting, not only knew about but even took serious, purposeful measures to ensure they would in fact take place. The sole purpose of their being inserted into the so called "stimulus" bill was so that they could later be turned into some faux outrage by "BO" and his comrades in "The Party" and used as just another "BO" diversionary tactic. A tactic to be used against what "BO" hopes to maintain as an unsuspecting public. This whole unbelievably sinister ploy is the height of hypocrisy and just another example of the misdirection which "BO" is hoping he can utilize to slide even more of his diabolical government expanding policies under the radar and past a majority of the American public. The whole scenario is nothing more than a twisted scheme of "BO"s to attempt to keep the majority of the public fixated on the supposedly out of control corporate greed and corruption that he claims is rampant in our capitalist, free market economy. That way we won’t be focused on the outrageous greed and corruption being perpetrated by "BO" and his comrades in "The Party". What’s going on here is nothing more than a covertly planed and executed sneak attack on the personal freedoms enjoyed by every single American citizen. And yet, where’s the outrage from those same citizens? His plan seems to be to get the public whipped up into an anti-corporation, anti-capitalism frenzy so they will turn to him as being their one and only financial savior. The big question that remains is will enough of the public buy into it. Now, we all know that "The Party" has many allies in today’s media who are all standing at the ready and poised to spring into action to serve in whatever capacity "BO" may need from them. They can always be counted on to nudge any unsuspecting moron who happens to be teetering on the edge over onto the side of "BO". Because you see, those who are unable to see the wisdom of "BO"s master plan are simply lumped into a category comprised of those considered to be simply too ignorant and uneducated to see that his way is not only the right way, but the only way. And he will continue to spew lies continuing to blame everything on that incompetent boob Bush. But how just how long can that game be played before even the morons among us have had enough?

"BO"s plans serve as nothing more than just another attempt to inflict typically socialist, highly toxic and corrosive socialist policies on what is effectively the last bastion of anti-socialism on the planet. His is an attempt to bring us down to everyone else’s level with the implementation of nationalized healthcare, government ownership of the economy complete with his soon to be developed 5-year plans, the limiting of free speech to squelch any and all dissent and the list goes on. The limiting of private property rights, restrictions, or worse, on gun ownership and on, and on, and on. And now he’s talking about another integral part of his plan, amnesty for illegal aliens and he is getting assistance with that plan from his comrade in the plan Nancy "Ms Botox" Pelosi. Nancy likes to refer to anyone who goes after illegal aliens are nothing more than thugs. Yep, we’re just supposed to welcome all these 12-20 million illegals in with open arms. "BO"s latest ploy being that they should all be allowed join unions, a plan that goes hand in hand with his other little "card check" plan. This whole idea is nothing but just one more under the table scheme to circumvent the will of the people. But then as we all know, what’s important to the people matters very little to "BO".

I keep hearing from those all knowing, all seeing pundits on the conservative side about how Americans will eventually see through what it is that "BO" is trying to bring about, that they are not stupid and will, at some point, demand that this march toward Socialism be brought to a halt. That they will come to recognize his current efforts at misdirection for what they are. But I keep finding myself in a bit of quandary. You see I’m wondering which group of Americans they’re all talking about. Are they talking about the 45 percent, or so, of us that still pay taxes, or, are they talking about the 55 percent, or so, of us who don’t? Now, of these two groups of "Americans" which group do you think would have the greater amount of motivation to at least attempt to slam on the ol’ binders regarding "BO"’s plans for government expansion and redistribution of wealth. As "BO" brings onboard, or at least attempts to, more of his favorite academic and bureaucratic elitists who possess zero experience in any and all matters related to the areas that they are being brought onboard to manage, his little clique seems to amassing quite a bit of political power. Out to blame all that has gone wrong in the past, continues to go wrong now and will go wrong in the future, economically speaking, on the Republicans, they are with help from our "watchdog" media, meeting with some success with, again, that substantial number of non-taxpayers. These freeloaders who feel they ought to be allowed, no make that entitled to, leech off the rest of us, and feel perfectly justified in doing just that, are perfectly content to sop up whatever drivel comes their way. Of course that willingness has a price, they will continue to buy what "BO" is selling only so long as there is no chance of them suddenly becoming forced to pay their own way. These pathetic losers are exactly the ones that make up the special segment of our population that forms the constituency to which "BO" along with Dingy Harry, Botox Nancy, Little Dick Durbin, Dopey Dodd, Chucky Schumer and of course that gay caballero, Bawney Fwank constantly play up to. They make these folks into victims and losers of life’s lottery and as poor unfortunate souls who are completely blameless for whatever circumstance it is in which they may find themselves. They do so because the people in this portion of our population are just too stupid to figure out they’re being lied to and too stupid to see that they are simply being used. They are also too stupid to see the fact that because of their bad decisions they have forfeited their futures essentially selling their souls to the Devil, and for what. So at the end of the day this whole sad melodrama culminates with the 45, or so, percent of us being forced to pay for their stupidity, gullibility and lousy decision making process of everyone else.

As I stated in another recent post regarding the anticipated resurgence of Conservatism supposedly coming in 2010, there are simply not enough of us to ensure that happens unless some of those that make up the mooch group come to their senses. Now what are the odds that any of these "people" will put the country before the government check they’re gonna get from "BO"? I’d be willing to bet not enough, if any. The little light that we keep hoping that will eventually pop on is, in all reality, actually quite burned out. You know how when you turn on a light switch and you get that bright flash that tells you the bulb just blew, well that’s what happened to these morons last election day. That’s why they’re never going to see the light, because the darn thing blew out in one big flash. They don’t see the man who will very quickly eclipse Jimmy Carter as the single worst president this country has ever had to suffer under. They don’t see it because they don’t want to see that by the time "BO" is through, Jimmy will have paled in comparison after "BO" has put into action the greatest spending binge in history. It is completely unreasonable to assume that any of these people will suddenly have a change of heart and throw those corrupt individuals listed above out of office. It just ain’t gonna happen, plain and simple. And I’m not really sure what’s available in the way of a plan B. If we don’t have the numbers we don’t have the numbers. And yes I’ve seen the polls where more Americans are disapproving of "BO"’s policies, but I also know the American electorate is very fickle and has an extremely short memory. "BO" knows that to! I work with a lot of these people, and I hear the conversations going on. These people don’t care about this country or where it is that it is being driven. They are nothing more than mindless little robots who happily agree with everything "BO" preaches about the evil rich and all those mean, greedy and profit hungry corporations. These are the very people who will be deciding the fate of the rest of us.

Add to everything else a Republican Party that is in complete disarray. It possesses no clear message and no articulate speaker to promote it even if we did have one. It seems instead to be filled with gutless wonders to whom a golden opportunity has been handed by "BO" and yet they simply haven’t got the courage to take advantage of it. Which is another reason I have serious reservations about anything significant taking place in 2010. I had high hopes for Michael Steele, and he may yet prove to be the leader we need. But right now I don’t see him doing us any favors. You have in "BO" a good public speaker who can say absolutely nothing, and has on any number of occasions, but sounding eloquent doing it, albeit with a teleprompter. The longer we go without a clear message the harder it will be to convince even a few on the other side that our way is the best way for prosperity to be attained by all willing to put forth the requisite effort. We’re going to have to resign ourselves to the fact that there will be no Ronald Reagan riding over the horizon this time. At least not one that has made himself readily known to the rest of us yet. People are going to go with whomever they feel has their best interests at heart. They must be convinced that they can do so very much more for themselves than the government could ever do for them, that the hidden potential that each of us have within ourselves can be so much more productive than can a government check. People have to want to improve their situation in life and not to be merely satisfied with just getting by courtesy of "BO" and the Democrats.

What is truly sad, and more than just a little scary, is that thanks to the Democrats and some limp-wristed Republicans we have reached a point where the fate of the entire country now rests in the hands of those who possess no desire to be contributing members of society. They wish to serve as nothing more than sponges continuing to be on the receiving end of whatever "BO" sponsored government handout that comes their way. It is this mooch mentality of over half of our population that could essentially spell doom for all that we hold dear.

And what is it exactly with the majority of folks on our side who seem to have no stomach for a good political fight? My God, what are the consequences going to be for future generations should "BO" be allowed to succeed in all it is that he wants to do? And why is it that all the supposed political geniuses on our side fail to see that? Or, do they see it and then are just willing to keep quite and simply let it all happen. And for crying out load, now you’ve even got "BO" calling up The New York Times of all places, crying foul regarding the fact that he doesn’t understand why everyone is calling his policies Socialist because he’s not a Socialist. Well not everyone, including most on our side are referring to him in that way, only a select few who actually see him for the fervent socialist that he is. Here we are poised on the verge of what is potentially an economic collapse, one that was inflicted on us by Democrats by the way, and no one but a radio Talk Show host is willing to sound the alarm about what it is that's truly going on here. His attempts to inform us that the boob we now have sitting in the Oval Office is attempting to do nothing more than to "use" that situation to further not only his personal political ambitions, but to expand the size of government to unheard of proportions, draw only criticism of him for doing so. What is his reward for providing thins critical information that we can get nowhere else, especially from our mainstream media sources? Slander, castigation and worse and not only from the Democrats from many on our side as well. None of us should be hoping, let alone praying, that "BO" is successful in the implementation of the policies and programs he wishes to inflict upon this country. NONE OF US!

What exactly is it going to take for our supposed Republican "leaders" to grow the necessary testicles for them to put the country above their efforts to maintain their political job security? What is it going to take for them to get their hackles up, to fight for what it is that is good for the country and not for themselves? And how much more abuse is the American taxpayer going to be forced to suffer at the hands of "BO" and the Democrats? These guys are supposed to be on our side, on the side of the country, not their own side or the government’s side. Where have all our "leaders" gone, you know the ones, those with the same principles we admired when we elected them. Where are those willing to lead by example? To whom do we turn to now? These days we have far too few on our side that have the courage to expend the necessary effort to emulate the very men who brought this country into the world and gave it life. With so much hanging in the balance in these truly uncertain economic times we seem to have so very few men, and women, in government who are of sufficient caliber that we are able to honestly trust and believe in and can count on to actually lead. To focus on polices that encourage freedom and economic growth not those that serve no other purpose that to redistribute wealth, diminish our country’s standing in the world and treat our enemies as if they are our friends and deserving of our trust. We need someone we can depend on to at least put forth the attempt, and to make the necessary noise about the out of control spending that just keeps on coming. Unless the Republicans step up to the plate and at least swing at some of the pitches, trust me there is going to be no conservative resurgence come 2010, it’ll just be another proverbial no hitter.

Here we are sitting at the 50-day mark of the "BO" administration and what exactly does the country have to show for all the "change" that has been implemented. Not only do we now find ourselves Barry’ed under trillions of dollars of debt, but we also now have Barry "O" doing absolutely nothing more than sticking his finger in the eye of conservatives by signing his latest presidential executive order authorizing taxpayer funds be spent on embryonic stem cell research. Of course that comes along with that nasty little side effect which is, of course, the requirement for the human embryo to be destroyed in the process. Now "BO" wants to start talks with the Taliban because, if you can believe "Slow Joe" Biden, only about 5 percent of them are "really" the extremists that we need to be worried about so we should be talking to the other 95 percent. And then adding insult to injury and something I’m sure pleases all those African-Americans who voted for him, by his signing the, 9000 earmark containing, Omnibus Bill, "BO" royally screwed over poor black kids living in DC. By choosing to support the Teacher’s Union over those poor black kids, he killed off a program that had assisted them in getting out of the failing DC schools and into the very same school that "BO" sends his daughters to. WOW, now that’s definitely change we can all believe in.

Just one last thing that I know I have mentioned before. I guess anyone who claims that things have not been this bad, economically speaking, since the 1930s, including many on our side, doesn’t remember the early 1980s. I heard Newt taking the other night that we have not seen such economic troubles since the 1930s. Have we all forgotten already what Jimmy "The Bonehead" Carter did his attempt to destroy this country? We had double-digit inflation as well as double digit unemployment. Gee, we don’t need to go all the way back to the 30s to see the effects of liberal economic policies, talk about short-term memory loss. And what was it that was done to correct that mess, anybody remember? It was TAX CUTS!!! And now we have 53 percent of Americans who actually think we’re headed into another depression, the same as the country experienced 80 years ago. "BO" and the Democrats continue to trash the economy for no other reason than to continue the con job of the American people to make it easier for them to pass the next stimulus bill that’s already being discussed by Nancy "Botox" Pelosi.

So, I ask you again just who is it that’s going to bring about this much ballyhooed conservative rebellion or resurgence come 2010?

Well as we all now know is that either Joe was lying through his teeth the whole time or he has since had one of the singnle, most monumental changes of opinion in history regarding Barry "O"’s capabilities. Now that "BO" has become president and with the Democrats having assumed an even larger majority, ol’ Joe is singing quite the different tune. According to Joe, "BO" has shown real leadership. Excuse me, but I think Joe’s definition of real leadership is a bit more than just a little different than mine. Joe went on to say that, " Personally, I think Barack Obama, the president of the United States, is off to a very good start." It would seem that in his eagerness to mend fences, Joe felt compelled to go so far as to gush, to the point of being nauseating, over Barry’s inauguration as being truly "inspirational and unifying." Come on Joe, quit being such a suck up, it’s beneath you. Groveling is not something we expect from a U.S. Senator even a Democrat one. To prove his loyalty to "BO" and the party he was willing to lower himself by not only going along with "BO"’s fraudulent economic stimulus plan but even playing a crucial role in helping the monstrosity pass.

Well, I guess Joe is okay with "BO"’s plan to send $900 million to a murderous terrorist group, Hamas, that very same Hamas, by the way, that has vowed to destroy Israel. Lest anyone forget, I thought Joe was Jewish. I guess he’s willing to throw all those folks under the bus as long as he can get back into "BO"’s good graces. I mean really, does he care so little for all those men, women and children in Israel who face the daily threat from those same terrorists that Barry is proving to be nothing more than a willing accomplice of? What credibility he may have enjoyed at one time with those of us outside of his party has all pretty much evaporated. We were all pretty much willing to overlook his years of his consistently liberal voting record, because it became less important during the campaign because it seemed that he was putting the country above party politics, because it was simply the right thing to do. Little did we know that it was just another example of typical Democrat hypocrisy and nothing more. Now that he has let show where his true sentiments lie, and showed us his true colors, we are now able to see his priorities for what they are and they are not priorities that favor the welfare of this country and the safety of Israel, not even close. He has revealed himself to be no different than any other gutless, power hungry Democrat. He shows himself to be willing to do whatever is required, even groveling if necessary to mend fences with fellow Democrats still angry with him over his criticism of "BO" during the general election campaign. Also he is obviously eager to do whatever will regain favor with the folks back in Connecticut because he’s up for re-election in 2012 and happens to be behind his potential rival by 28 points in a recent poll. And of course in his desire to maintain his little committee chairmanship he apparently is willing to say or do whatever is necessary to suck up to the powers at be.

Remember all the jokes about George W. Bush being King George or the ones about how stupid and or incompetent he was? Well, my my, how things have changed. For these days we must not ridicule our "Supreme Leader" or even dare make jokes at his expense, instead we must only treat him with all the reverence, dignity and utmost respect that is not only demanded by the high office he holds, but because he is The One, The Messiah, The Barry "O"mighty. And, we must always remember that it was he who was delivered to us, the most fortunate ones, not for him to gain in any way personally, but only to rescue us from ourselves. RIGHT! What we’re quickly finding out here is that King George couldn’t hold a candle to The One, The Messiah, The Barry "O"mighty on any level ranging from pure arrogance to pure incompetence to even pure stupidity, because Barry’s in a league all of his own. All joking aside here folks, we are now entering into an era the likes of which we have not seen before and which simply does not appear to be consistent with the principles on which this country was founded. The whole concept regarding the proper size, scope and power of government conceived by those brilliant men not all that long ago, historically speaking, is being shoved aside and very sharply to the left.  It is being forced very far from the idea that was brought to life by that small group of men who wanted to form something the likes of which had not even been thought possible before.

So it is then that we now find ourselves being "lead" by a socialist zealot whose apparent sole purpose in life to undermine in any way and every way possible the life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness of the American people. Instead, what appears to be his main goal is a complete re-distribution of a vast amount of wealth from those who have worked so hard to save it and to simply hand it over to those who are deemed to have been somehow cheated out of being allowed to achieve their own version of prosperity by a system specifically designed to do just that. He is attempting to completely redefine American democracy, to recast it, or to reshape it into something that would be completely unrecognizable by the Founders and from what it was that they originally proposed and enacted. Today we have a president whom after every time he opens his mouth about the economy the Stock Market takes another 200 point plunge sharply downward. In less than a year now, the Dow Jones has gone from over 13,000 to where it sits today just under 7,000. We now have an unemployment rate of 8.1 percent the highest in over 25 years as our citizens have collectively lost over $3 Trillion dollars of accumulated wealth, with retirements being lost, savings ruined and college plans put off indefinitely. Now completely in control of Washington, Barry, Nancy and Harry are attempting to do nothing more than to spend their way to political dominance. And along the way at the same time they are making a concerted effort at taking well over half the voters off the federal tax rolls and giving actual taxpayers a greater incentive to hide and shuffle existing wealth than to earn or create new wealth. Thanks Barry "O", but if this is saving us from ourselves, NO THANKS!!  Adding to all the, purposefully designed maybe, economic blunders, we also now have a return to the Neville Chamberlain style of foreign policy being lead by our own version of that stellar states-person, Hillary Clinton. Who, on her ongoing European suck up tour told young Europeans at the European Parliament that global economic turmoil provided a fresh opening. "Never waste a good crisis ... Don't waste it when it can have a very positive impact on climate change and energy security," she said. And while discussing the topic of mythical Global Warming she said, "Certainly the United States has been negligent in living up to its responsibilities," all this on her first visit to Europe as secretary of state. She went on to say, "I think there was a rather confrontational approach toward Russia in the prior administration. How much that contributed to Russian behavior, I think, is a legitimate question to ask." Then, or course we have secret letters being sent to the Russians and the sending of nearly a billion dollars of tax payer funds off to an admitted terrorist organization, HAMAS, and you have the makings for the most destructive presidency in our history. Barry and his team are on their way to dwarfing even the damage inflicted upon us by Jimmy "The Peanut Brain" Carter.

Our government, so brilliantly conceived, has now morphed into a conglomerate of bureaucracies run by elitists, that as a whole has essentially become 180 degrees out from what was the intended, once again, by the Founder’s design. The American people now have a decision to make. At least those of us with any semblance of brain power that is. They must now choose to unite as one, if there is to be any chance to salvage what’s left of our great union. The absolute massive amounts of money being "spent", actually being used as nothing more than a form of payback, and with no realistic agenda that even attempts to portray a viable plan for economic recovery, will bring about the financial destruction for generations yet to even be born. But that matters very little to Barry "O" and his merry band of thieves, out to do nothing more than to consolidate their power by any and all means available to them. Add to that the depth to which the government has encroached in our private economy, the talk of nationalizing not only our banks but our healthcare system as well with nearly $1 Trillion already budgeted to do just that. Together with the fact that we now have a $3.2 Trillion deficit created within less than 30 days of Barry "O" taking the oath of office and we have the makings for a catastrophic collapse, an economic meltdown for this country that it may very well never recover from. Yet our man in the Oval Office says he doesn’t pay attention to the daily gyrations of the Stock Market, viewing them as nothing more than just another tracking poll. WHAT? How twisted is that?

Now is the time to start putting together the plans for a new American Revolution. In all actuality we are facing the same type of governmental oppression faced by those so many years ago, and who decided to make a stand, to say this far and no farther. They knew they could come up with something better, and until recently, they had. The time has officially arrived for the people to band together and say no, no more of this elitist crap that is being shoved down our throats, no more out of control spending that accomplishes nothing more than the expanding of the liberal Democrat voter base. Only this time our mission is not to create something new, but is to expedite a return to something that is proven and up to this point had worked pretty darn well for 200 plus years. We need to ride to the rescue of not our only the country that has been bequeathed to us, but of our Constitution and to prevent that which amounts to nothing more than coup by the Socialist Democrats. Only by our banding together will we have any chance to prevent this country from deteriorating into the equivalent of your average, everyday dictatorial, third world country with our Constitution being left in tatters. We can not, we must not, allow this to happen on our watch, our children will never forgive us. And we cannot allow Barry and the Democrats the satisfaction of being able to complete their attempted takeover.

The man who so arrogantly and so passionately professes to be the arbiter of all that is hope and change is beginning to reveal himself as nothing more than a charlatan. Through not only his words but also through his deceptive actions as well, he is showing himself to be something quite different than that which he claimed to be throughout his presidential campaign. What’s becoming much more apparent everyday is that, in all reality, he is nothing more than just another purveyor of victimhood, of outright pessimism and yes even of racism. In other words, he is nothing other than your very typical Democrat! What makes his brand of racism all the worse, however, is that he is practicing it against not only those who are members of the same community as he, but that he is using it, and them, as just another means to his highly sought after end. It is these very same people who are the main reason that Barry "O" is now able to be in his present position. And yet, he can only show his gratitude by subjecting them to even further degradation and humiliation by continuing to paint them as being incapable of achieving anything more than victimhood. To listen to Barry, these people, "his" people, are simply too stupid to be able to accomplish anything on their own and without the government’s help they’ll never be able to achieve anything other than the current situations in which they now find themselves. And why is that a premise that is so willingly accepted? Is it just because Barry "O" says so? These people who take such great pride in the fact that they played a major role in this country having elected its first black president are the very same ones who have paid, and continue to pay the highest price in the whole endeavor. A price that came, and continues to come, in the form of thousands of they’re young men in prison, the black family left in tatters and literally millions of black kids growing up without dads. In a sense these people are in fact victims, but not in the way Barry and the Democrats like to describe. Because Barry is nothing more than a reckless opportunist, what they are in fact, are victims of a system, a set of governmental policies, or however you wish to describe it, that was put into place 40 years ago and has been maintained ever since, by the Democrat Party. Oddly enough, the very same Party to which these people have sworn some sort of screwy allegiance to. It’s mind boggling how they can continue to vote for the very people, election after election, who continually screw them over for purely political purposes. For whatever reason these people continue to place their trust as well as their faith in the so-called leaders of their community and allow themselves to be consistently betrayed by those who could not give a rat’s behind whether anyone’s life, other than their own of course, is improved one bit. They are continually thrown under the bus by the Democrats, continuing to allow themselves to placed under the thumb, if not the heel of that same Party and, for whatever bizarre reason, are very content to remain there. There is so much opportunity in this country that is available for "all" to take advantage of. The sooner Black Americans realize their fate is in their own hands, dumping those black "leaders" who, for their own reasons, wish only to keep the black community in chains and subservient to the Democrat Party, the better it will be not only for them but for the country as a whole. I simply cannot believe that there is some deep seated desire within the black community that makes them want to maintain the current trend where so many of their children are practically being encouraged to continue down that dead end road to a future that holds so very little promise. And yet, when you confront these people with the facts that expose their self inflicted, self perpetuating, vicious cycle that they are in, as a community, all you are met with is this eat poop look and weird kind of looking down their nose kind of belligerence. It’s really quite amazing. They’ll soak up all the nonsensical tripe and drivel spewed by those they call leaders, but when someone tries to give them a good dose of reality, those trying to honestly help are simply called names. You know the one. The societal mess that has become the black community today is a direct result of their allowing themselves to be manipulated by their black leadership and their masters, the liberal Democrats. Look back in time just a bit and we’ll see that before the changes of the 60’s the economic, social and cultural position of black Americans had been steadily improving for may years. After those changes, the long-term black economic advance relative to whites continued for a short time but then stopped and quickly, an in other respects the problems of black society grew far worse. Now, if the only goal of these people is to try to bring others down to their level, isn’t that an extreme waste of time and effort that does absolutely nothing to make their lives even a little better. Why not focus that same energy on bringing their lives up to the level of those they are so determined to bring down? Why not focus on becoming an achiever instead of trying to simply take what others have worked so hard for? I just don’t understand the rationale behind the whole notion of such a twisted philosophy. Today, we see how many of the successful beneficiaries of affirmative action are plagued by suspicions, insecurities, and real or imagined slights, and on the whole are far from happy about their situation. When all is said and done here, the only claim these people are going to be able to make will be the one where they can claim the singular responsibility for the electing the worst president in the history of this country, and the one that did his absolute best to destroy it. All they really accomplished was to guarantee victory to the most inept, most inexperienced, most naïve and the most dangerous man we have ever had leading this country. Oh and did I mention that he’s Black! Enjoy it while you can because when he gets through thoroughly trashing this country how long do you think it will be before anyone, and I mean anyone, will ever be willing to trust another black man with the reins of power.

As a nation, we have spent nearly $11 trillion to combat "poverty", and where has all that money gone. Whose life has been improved one iota, how many black men have been kept out of prison, how many fewer out of wedlock births have there been? When is that little light bulb ever going to go off for these people to where they finally realize that with friends like the Democrats you really don’t need any enemies? Now, if I was being a cynical person I’d say that maybe, just maybe, these people have made a conscious decision that this is the life they have always wanted and it’s the life they want for their children. Being permanently enslaved to a degrading welfare system that could not have done a better job at destroying the black family had it been specifically designed to do just that. But then again, maybe it was. This man, Barry "O", they are so proud of, looks down his nose at them the same as he does the rest of us. He has zero plans of doing anything more than to use them as pawns in his plan to destroy this country and the freedoms enjoyed by all. That such a huge number of Americans continually allow themselves to be treated as nothing more than a bunch of suckers, quite frankly, absolutely astounds me. But ya know, maybe Barry is right, maybe these people have reached the pinnacle of when they are able to attain in economic terms, motivational term, initiative terms and maybe even intelligence terms. They are all out there enthusiastically applauding Barry’s plans for gouging the more affluent among us, who are in all honesty, usually the very ones who employ those cheering the loudest. So, the question is, who really wins in the end, the guy doing the employing who is forced to cut back and lay off a few employees in order to be able to pay his newly increased taxes, or, the loud mouth employee who just got laid off and now has no way to meet his mortgage? Personally, I’m screaming for the employer to get a nice fat tax cut in the hope that I just might get a raise. No one, NO ONE, prospers under Socialism, unless of course you happen to be a member of the ruling elite, which does make me wonder why so many black Americans are so excited about what it is that’s going on here. $3 Trillion of wealth has been lost in the market since Barry "O" won the election, which has caused, and will continue to cause, a very negative impact on those at the bottom of the economic ladder, and the only individual on which you can place blame is Barry "O". Barry says he doesn’t care about the daily gyrations of the Stock Market. Well that certainly explains a lot!! What he’s got going here is nothing more than a plan for trickle down misery. And yet these people are so proud of their accomplishment. WEIRD!!

It was just one short year ago that I started this little thing I call Minuteman1Blog. I took the name from a VP squadron I had been attached to for four years starting back in 1989. Since it was near Boston, we were the Minutemen of VP-92, and since it was probably the best command I was ever fortunate enough to be a part of, I decided to name my blog after the men and women who have served in that squadron, which by the way, has since been decommissioned. At a time during the run up to what was already being discussed as an election that could very well bring about the most profound "changes" to this country any of us living today had ever seen, I decided to enter the blogoshere. So it was that I started this blog in an attempt to find out just how much of an island I may have been regarding both what I thought about the then upcoming election and how I felt its outcome, depending who would eventually win, would impact the country. A country in whose service I had very proudly spent 24 years of my life. My time was spent a member of the U. S. Navy, and I got to see and experience many places and many different peoples around the globe. I went to places that the majority of your everyday Americans have no idea even exist, and places that make one appreciate all the more the life that we are all able to enjoy here in America. At least before Barry "O"mighty was elected. Because of the agenda of our newly elected president, we may now become much more like those places I once visited and was always so very glad to leave. However, after my first post, I would soon discover, and in pretty short order really, that I was not an island at all, but was only a small part of a very large group of likeminded individuals who are deeply concerned about the fate of their country and committed to doing whatever possible to protect it. These were people who love this country as much as I do myself. So, it’s at this time I wish to take the opportunity to thank all who, over the last year, have stopped by here and not only read my two cents worth but who also took the time and expended the effort to add to them. I’ve learned much from you all and at times even gained a new perspective on a few issues and for that, I thank you all.

As predicted by many, the Barry "O" victory in the election has, in fact, and in a very short period of time, already brought about many "changes" that have taken a very big step in moving this country very much, and very rapidly, in the wrong direction. We all realize that challenging times lay ahead for our country to be sure. With attempts to stifle free speech by silencing any and all voices of dissent, to nationalize our health care and at renewed efforts to establish the costly Cap and Trade legislation are just of few of the items that Barry "O" intends to accomplish as quickly as possible. The squelching of free speech will be first and foremost on his list of priorities, meaning that people like us and of course those on Talk radio that comprise the sole source of what limited amount of unfiltered information is still available to us will essentially become nothing more than targets. We must now ready our forces and continue to be ever vigilant in our preparation for the upcoming battles that we know are just over the horizon. There is so very much at stake. As Rush has said, it is unlikely we will be able to stop Barry and the Democrats, the best we can hope for is to slow them down hoping that we can make some gains in 2010.
