COLIN POWELL: ATTENTION SEEKER, PUBLICITY HOUND, HYPOCRITE, FRAUD AND BACK STABBER EXTRAORDINAIRE

 Colin Powell

If I have to hear from one more scumbag Democrat, or another so-called journalist about what a sterling example Colin Powell is of what it means to be a Republican, I swear I’m going to just go off. I have never been a big Powell fan, but ever since he decided to throw his support behind Barry I have gotten to the point to where now I care very little, if at all, about what he may have to say about anything. With his supporting of Barry for essentially no other reason than race, it has become painfully obvious that Powell has become much less interested in advancing the agenda of the Republican Party as he is now very much more interested in advancing the agenda of Colin Powell. If I can be perfectly frank here, I have always thought that the good General was in somewhat over his head in any position he has ever held. And why it is exactly, that he cannot now just simply fade away is proof positive of the huge ego that this man has.

Meaning no disrespect to the General, but the time has now come for Colin Powell to activate his GPS, locate that hole from which he crawled out and, while going quietly into the night, crawl right back into it. Because no matter how hard the mainstream media may try to convince us otherwise, this man is nothing more than an attention seeking, publicity hound who is so addicted to the limelight and to the adulation he continues to receive from a leftist media, and from Democrats, that he doesn't see that the time has come for him to just go away.  If he is truly a Republican then he must be made to realize that what he now doing can only be detrimental to the Party, but let’s be honest here, we all know that he is even less of a Republican than is John McCain. This guy has been nothing more than a complete fraud going all the way back to his days as National Security Advisor during the Reagan Administration. He was less than adequate as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and a joke of a Secretary of State. He has been someone who has done nothing more than to backstab his bosses, both while serving them as well as after having served. He did so at any and every opportunity if he thought by doing so he would be able to elevate his so-called stature with the media. While at State, he had his trusty sidekick, walrus looking "Dick" Armitage, to run interference for him and as someone who could be counted on to assist Powell in his back stabbing of his boss, THE PRESIDENT.  Anyone who has been watching this guy over the years would have to admit that he’s always been pretty much of an "all show and no go" kind of a guy. He has always been someone I saw as having zero substance and on the receiving end of far more praise than he was entitled to or was even deserving of. That this man can, with such ease, back stab those who provided him with the many opportunities that allowed him to become much more than he could have ever become on his own, reveals a shallowness as well as a severe lack of any character. And today he seems to take a great deal of pleasure in slamming President Bush, Vice-President Chaney as well as just about any other actual conservative while portraying himself as a shining example of all that the Republican Party can and should be. All his theatrics do nothing more than to expose to all the complete and utter shallowness of this washed up, whiny has-been who is now out there acting like nothing more than a spoiled brat. Showing his gratitude to those who have assisted him in the advancement of his career, he goes about his business cheerfully allowing himself to be used by our leftist media. He seems very comfortable with that as long as he is on the receiving end of his own good press. His continuing to essentially slander those for whom he has worked continues to demonstrate that he has no more class than that of the man that he supported for president and continues to support after having won the election. That such a man as Powell who has accomplished so much, albeit with much assistance from many others, going from Chairman of the Joint Chiefs to Secretary of State, could then deteriorate into something that more closely resembles nothing more than a common political hack, is really kind of sad. He has been reduced to being nothing more than a puppet with the media pulling his strings whenever the occasion arises to bash Bush, Chaney, Limbaugh or the Republican Party in general.

And now he’s out there cheerfully making a fool of himself assisting the mainstream media in the accomplishing their goals of undermining the Republican Party. He happily goes about the business of telling them whatever it is they want to hear whether it’s true or not. He’s out there slamming the Republicans, making bizarre and baseless claims about how the Party, his party, has made some perceived drastic lurch to the hard right that he claims will have suicidal consequences. In an interview on CNN after the election, he declared that the Republican Party attempted to polarize the country. He also stated that Republicans had to try to reach out to more minorities, including African Americans, who are conservative, but have been alienated by the polarizing nature of many conservative figures. Powell declared that the Republican Party was in "deep trouble" and needed to move closer to the center to survive. Now, after hearing this ridiculous statement you have to wonder if he really believes that or is it just another instance of where he opens his mouth and crap just falls out. I mean with our last presidential candidate, how much more in the center could the Party have been, and still he chose to openly support and to also vote for the most radically left leaning candidate in our history. As has been said by many others and much more articulately than I, in this last election one would have thought that by Powell’s standards, we had the perfect candidate, and yet he bailed on the Party, his Party, to vote for a blatant and obvious Socialist. He has become, or quite possibly always has been, much more interested in being the center of attention and will therefore say or do anything if the result will be to have nice things said about him in the media. He has a monumental ego very similar to that of the man he supports as president. So starved for attention is this guy that he will say absolutely anything that he deems necessary to draw the requisite amount of attention to himself. And if it gets his face on some Sunday news show, or quoted in The New York Times or gains him the opportunity to spew his garbage to the American people, all the better. Powell is always on call and standing at the ready to be called upon at any time and whenever needed to bash the Republicans. And yet, this is the man who apparently could so easily cast aside those principles we all thought he possessed in his effort to support a man who we all would have thought would have been his complete philosophical opposite. And why exactly is that? Race, plane and simple! He put the electing of an incompetent boob as president over the good of the country for no other reason than because that incompetent boob happened to be black. That action alone demonstrates the height of his hypocrisy and shows the lengths to which he will go to satisfy his sick need to be constantly praised by the leftist media conglomeration that we now have in this country. And that is something I will never forgive him for and it is what gives this man zero credibility regarding any topic he may wish to discuss. Despite Barry’s positions on every thing from abortion to slashing defense spending to massive expansion of government, Powell chose to support the black guy for no other reason than the very fact that he was black. That was enough for Powell to betray the country that he supposedly claims to love. And it would now seem that Powell finds himself standing in the unique company of men the likes of Castro and Chavez, who are also ardent Barry supporters. In company such as that, how is it possible for him call himself a Republican? The epitome of hypocrisy is the fact that Powell has the gall to call himself a Republican when it is so obvious, and in so many ways, that he is not.

And finally, when was the last time that Powell made an appearance anywhere in the media that he was asked any serious questions such as, "General Powell, do you support expanding entitlement programs to include national health care? And if you do, General Powell, how would you pay for it?" "What is the highest tax rate you would accept, General Powell?" "General Powell, should we give amnesty to illegal aliens?" "General Powell, how would you expand the Republican Party's base without diminishing its principles?" "What are your views on affirmative action, General Powell?" "What are your views on the death penalty?" "How about school choice?" "General Powell, do you favor Barry’s returning our government to a pre 9/11 mentality?" "General Powell, do you favor Barry’s plan to slash defense spending?" He just never gets asked these kinds of questions. Why? Because that’s not the reason they bring him on their television shows or interview him for the newspaper columns. He is used for no other reason than to ridicule the Party he supposedly belongs to. However, he is not now, and I seriously doubt that he really ever has been, a Republican.

ON THIS MEMORIAL DAY, HAVE WE LOST OUR WILL TO FIGHT?

Have we Americans, or at least what would appear to be a sizable majority of us, simply lost the will to defend ourselves? Have we lost our stomach for a good fight, even if it is fight to protect our way of life? By having elected a blatant and committed pacifist and an ardent appeasement oriented individual in Barry as our president, we may have effectively doomed our descendents to a future that may very well turn out to be the equivalent of sending them headlong back into what can only be described as a re-emergence of those Dark Ages of the past. Are we now to be content to just sit back and allow those presently in leadership positions in this country to place us into the precarious position where that at any given time on any given day we may find ourselves vulnerable to yet another attack taking place. And are we now a people of so little character that we cheerfully elect such leaders, leaders who care so little about doing what’s necessary to protect us? We must be wary of such decisions, because the next time, if we continue down the road that Barry has put us on, the attack could very well be one that would dwarf the attacks of 9/11, this time possibly killing millions of our countrymen. Has it come to the point now where even the act of self-preservation is simply not worth the effort?

What we are in desperate need of today is the will, as a people, to elect leaders who possess the courage and the fortitude to throw down the gauntlet, challenging those who are out to kill us. A gauntlet which says to the terrorists, "Go ahead punks, make our day!" or "Please, please give us an excuse to send you on your way to those 72 virgins!" It must be made clear to all and in the very starkest of terms possible, that those who would even consider attacking this country will face the deadly consequences of their doing so. And they must be made to be fully aware that those consequences will be extreme in both the swiftness and the severity in the manner in which they will be carried out. It should also be made clear to any country thinking of offering up any type of assistance to those wishing to attack us that they too will be held accountable. These countries should receive one and only one warning. Warned in such a way as to make them fully aware that if this country is to ever suffer another terrorist attack of the magnitude of 9/11 they too will face the full wrath of the United States. They must realize that the United States and her people will hold any and all of those who it can be proven to have contributed to the ability of those to carry off such an attack, to be personally responsible, as if they themselves had committed the act. It must be made to be crystal clear that any and all who aided or provided shelter or safe haven to those who chose to attack us that retaliation will come not only to those who carried out the attack but also to those who aided and abetted the culprits as well. They must be told that like those who carried out the attacks, those who provided any type of assistance no matter how trivial it may have seemed at the time will have effectively signed their own death warrant. Any country that decides that it is in their interest to assist those who would attack the United States must be made to understand, in no uncertain terms, that as part of our response to an attack would be the carrying out of a strategic and coordinated attack of our own against them. That we will be determined in our destroying of their military bases, power plants, communication facilities and if necessary their major cities as part of our retaliation for being attacked. Sort of a modern day version of Mutually Assured Destruction. Thus they must be made to realize that the choice is theirs and that the United States will take whatever measures that it deems necessary and appropriate against any and all who it perceives as being an enemy or potential threat.

On this Memorial Day as we are taking the time to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the defending our country, we must also remember the great courage they exhibited in their efforts to keep us free and to protect our way of life. How can we now let them down, to allow them to have possibly died in vain by now choosing to simply roll over and to not be willing to do all that is necessary to keep this country strong and free. When it comes to protecting this country there should be no measure taken off the table, no matter how extreme it may seem at the time or how squeamish we may be about carrying out our threat. The only realistic way to discourage those who wish to do us harm is to instill in them a fear like no other they have ever experienced. Because simply put, that is all these savages of the Arab World understand. If anyone is to be intimidated let it be them.

IN WHAT DIRECTION IS BARRY REALLY TRYING TO TAKE US?

"Whew, what's that smell? Oh, that's the smell of our rotten economy."

We are constantly hearing from those who like to throw stones at America, many of whom are home grown America haters, that is America that should shoulder the majority of the blame for world poverty. But as you can see on the list below, poverty is pretty much self-inflicted, with any country finding itself in such a position not only having had brought about their own condition but being solely responsible for perpetuating it. Now what is being attempted by Barry, is to not work to move those countries at the bottom of this list up, but to increase efforts to move the United States further down.  He agrees with those who say it is our fault that there are those in poverty, because, you see,  we are so greedy and we care so little for others around the World.  So therefore we must be the ones that must be made to pay and so it is then, his plan to do whatever is necessary to bring us down to their levle an to eventually turn us into just one more Third World country.

For 15 years, The Wall Street Journal and The Heritage Foundation have been measuring countries’ commitment to free-market capitalism in the "Index of Economic Freedom." The 2009 Index, published back in January, provides strong evidence that the countries that maintain the freest economies do the best job of promoting prosperity for all citizens. The positive correlation between economic freedom and national income is confirmed yet again by this year’s data. The freest countries enjoy per capita incomes over 10 times higher than those in countries ranked as "repressed." This year, for the first time, the Index also correlates economic freedom with important societal values like poverty reduction, human development, political freedom and environmental protection. The linkages are robust, with economically freer countries performing significantly better on every indicator of well-being.

The Index of Economic freedom examines 10 economic characteristics of those countries on the list. Among those characteristics are property rights, monetary stability, freedom from government , trade restrictions, business regulations and government corruption. Using these measures of economic freedom, countries are ranked.

Now if you listen to Barry and are watching what it is he is trying to do, which is basically to move this country away from Capitalism and the free market and toward an environment of more governmental control, you’ll see that the countries that have in fact tried something similar have proceeded to move down the list. Barry’s plan for deficit spending, his drive to expropriation of land and resources, and of course his pushing for government support of favored enterprises will destroy our economy; will virtually guarantee a soon to arrive hyperinflation and together with obvious Democrat corruption will have the effect of devastating our nation and our economy. As you can from the list, Hong Kong and Singapore are once again the freest economies in the world, followed in the rankings by Australia, Ireland and New Zealand. The U.S. slipped one spot to sixth place this year because of increases in both tax revenue and government spending as a percentage of GDP. Conditions favored by Barry that can only result in America slipping further down the list. But is that what Barry is in fact trying to accomplish?  Is he trying to make America into a country that more closely resembles those at the bottom of the list? I think that is a very fair question to ask after seeing what he has accomplished thus far in his first 4 months in office and what he claims that he still hopes to get accomplished to supposedly fix our economy. Again, I would argue that he and the Democrat Party have no intention to fix anything, they only wish to make matters worse in an attempt to get more of us totally dependant on the government as are the citizens of those countries on the bottom of this list.  Look out Cuba and North Korea, here comes the United States of America.

BARRY SEEMS A LITTLE DEFENSIVE REGARDING HIS, OR HIS LACK OF, ANY NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY

FILE -- In May 21, 2009 file photos President Barack Obama, left, delivers an address on national security, terrorism, and the closing of Guantanamo Bay prison, Thursday, May 21, 2009, at the National Archives in Washington.
              THE TRAITOR              AND              THE PATRIOT

Once again Barry "Almighty", The Messiah, along with his ever-present teleprompter, is out there trying his best at the hard sell, trying to convince us that he will do all that is necessary to keep us all safe. But, according to Barry, he will accomplish it in a much more honorable way than was George W. Bush able to. I suppose that's something similiar to when candidate John Kerry Heinz said that he would combat terrorism in a more sensitive way, whatever the heck that meant.  My friends, we are being sold nothing but a bill of goods by someone who is doing his best to implement a "Rodney King" type of National Defense policy. One in which he asks, "Can’t we all just get along?"  Barry is doing his best to rewrite history, a history that show that Liberal Democrats are proponents of a strong national defense. Unfortunately for him, there is example after example that reveal how Barry and those of his ilk have repeatedly shown a willingness, almost an eagerness to do just the opposite. And thus it was yet another attempt to do just that in what appeared to be nothing more than just one more campaign speech given in all places as the present home of our founding documents. It was quite fitting however that this fraud of a man should give a speech while standing in front of a copy of the U.S. Constitution. A document that Barry has continually shown such a willful disdain. Throughout entirety of Barry’s speech he seemed so angry, angry in both his demeanor and tone, as if to say how dare we little people attempt to second guess the wishes of the Messiah. He who knows what’s best for the country and us, how dare we presume to think ourselves as capable of being able to question that which he has planned for us. But Barry seems to be stuck in campaign mode, unable to make any forward progress continuing to only blame everything on Bush. With him, even though he ardently claims otherwise, it’s all about the last eight years and how badly that incompetent Bush simply screwed everything up! So much so that there were 28 separate mentions about the mess Bush left behind for him, the Barry "Almighty", to now have to clean up. In doing so all he does is to consistently reveal himself as a man totally devoid of any character as well as possessing absolutely zero class. So I say, ok Barry, the time has come to lead not whine. As Barry has been so quick to point out on any number of occasions, he won, so my question to him is, when is he going to start acting like it.

In his speech that Barry gave at the National Archives he once again, and with the aid of his teleprompter, showed himself to the incompetent boob we all knew he was even before a majority of us decided it would be a could idea to buy into his brand of change and elect him as our president. All he can still manage to do is to harp on what he calls the failures of the last eight years. Here we are not having been attacked again since that fateful September day and all this gutless loser can keep whining about is how those measures that were taken to keep safe were un-American, and something that undermined our American values. What a bunch of crap! In his speech Barry, in his standard form of empty but pretty rhetoric he said, "We know that this threat will be with us for a long time, and that we must use all elements of our power to defeat it. Already, we have taken several steps to achieve that goal. For the first time since 2002, we are providing the necessary resources and strategic direction to take the fight to the extremists who attacked us on 9/11 in Afghanistan and Pakistan. We are investing in the 21st century military and intelligence capabilities that will allow us to stay one step ahead of a nimble enemy. We have re-energized a global non-proliferation regime to deny the world’s most dangerous people access to the world’s deadliest weapons, and launched an effort to secure all loose nuclear materials within four years. We are better protecting our border, and increasing our preparedness for any future attack or natural disaster. We are building new partnerships around the world to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat al Qaeda and its affiliates. And we have renewed American diplomacy so that we once again have the strength and standing to truly lead the world. These steps are all critical to keeping America secure. But I believe with every fiber of my being that in the long run we also cannot keep this country safe unless we enlist the power of our most fundamental values. The documents that we hold in this very hall – the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights –are not simply words written into aging parchment. They are the foundation of liberty and justice in this country, and a light that shines for all who seek freedom, fairness, equality and dignity in the world." He is trying so hard to convince us that he is on the job and doing whatever it takes to keep us safe, but it’s all nothing more than a lie. That he has the nerve to mention American values as if they are something that he truly believes in is nothing more than a sick joke. If there is one thing I can say with no reservation it is that Barry’s values are not American values nor are they my values and I pray I never get to the place where mine and his are in agreement. And regarding our founding documents, I seriously doubt this moron even knows what it is in these documents and what the words they contain actually represent. Barry simply does not assign the same meaning, or value, to those historic words contained in the Constitution as did the Founders who drafted them. He sees them as "just words" written by a bunch of old dead white guys in a much different time.

But there came even more drivel, "After 9/11, we knew that we had entered a new era – that enemies who did not abide by any law of war would present new challenges to our application of the law; that our government would need new tools to protect the American people, and that these tools would have to allow us to prevent attacks instead of simply prosecuting those who try to carry them out. Unfortunately, faced with an uncertain threat, our government made a series of hasty decisions. And I believe that those decisions were motivated by a sincere desire to protect the American people. But I also believe that – too often – our government made decisions based upon fear rather than foresight, and all too often trimmed facts and evidence to fit ideological predisposition’s. Instead of strategically applying our power and our principles, we too often set those principles aside as luxuries that we could no longer afford. And in this season of fear, too many of us – Democrats and Republicans; politicians, journalists and citizens – fell silent." Speaking in hindsight, which is nearly always 20/20, here is a man with absolutely no principles accusing those who kept us safe for seven and a half years as being the guilty ones who chose to cast aside American principles. What a laugher! He loves to claim that, as a country, we went off course straying from the values that make this country safe. RIGHT! He claims to be overly concerned regarding perception versus reality when it comes to making sure these murdering terrorists are sufficiently interrogated to get the information needed to save American lives. "Now let me be clear: we are indeed at war with al Qaeda and its affiliates. We do need to update our institutions to deal with this threat. But we must do so with an abiding confidence in the rule of law and due process; in checks and balances and accountability. For reasons that I will explain, the decisions that were made over the last eight years established an ad hoc legal approach for fighting terrorism that was neither effective nor sustainable – a framework that failed to rely on our legal traditions and time-tested institutions; that failed to use our values as a compass. And that is why I took several steps upon taking office to better protect the American people. I know some have argued that brutal methods like water-boarding were necessary to keep us safe. I could not disagree more. As Commander-in-Chief, I see the intelligence, I bear responsibility for keeping this country safe, and I reject the assertion that these are the most effective means of interrogation. What's more, they undermine the rule of law. They alienate us in the world. They serve as a recruitment tool for terrorists, and increase the will of our enemies to fight us, while decreasing the will of others to work with America." Again, he speaks of the rule of law and due process, something he seeks to undermine at every opportunity if it suits him and aid in the accomplishment of his desired end goal. How exactly is he planning to keep me safer than I was during the last eight years? Sorry, but I’m not feeling better protected because of anything Barry has done, if anything I feel much less protected. He claims that those "brutal" methods of interrogation that were used serve as a recruitment tool for terrorists, yet that seems to be nothing more than just another myth (lie) perpetuated by himself and his appeasement oriented Democrat Party. He claims he has made us safer because, "I banned the use of so-called enhanced interrogation techniques by the United States of America. I know some have argued that brutal methods like water-boarding were necessary to keep us safe. I could not disagree more." Of course, because according to Barry, we should be able to do no more than to ask pretty please when asking these murdering terrorist questions regarding their plans to kill Americans.

His idiotic plan to close Guatanamo puts on display the shear idiocy and incompetence not only possessed by our president but his entire inept administration. Continuing to sound like the proverbial broken record when speaking about Guantanamo he drones on saying, "So the record is clear: rather than keep us safer, the prison at Guantanamo has weakened American national security. It is a rallying cry for our enemies. It sets back the willingness of our allies to work with us in fighting an enemy that operates in scores of countries. By any measure, the costs of keeping it open far exceed the complications involved in closing it. That is why I argued that it should be closed throughout my campaign. And that is why I ordered it closed within one year. There is also no question that Guantanamo set back the moral authority that is America’s strongest currency in the world. Instead of building a durable framework for the struggle against al Qaeda that drew upon our deeply held values and traditions, our government was defending positions that undermined the rule of law. Indeed, part of the rationale for establishing Guantanamo in the first place was the misplaced notion that a prison there would be beyond the law – a proposition that the Supreme Court soundly rejected." Yeah, a Supreme Court where a majority of the justices are much more concerned about getting good press than they are about making sound judicial decisions derived from a strict interpretation of the Constitution and that actually keep Americans safe. "Meanwhile, instead of serving as a tool to counter-terrorism, Guantanamo became a symbol that helped al Qaeda recruit terrorists to its cause. Indeed, the existence of Guantanamo likely created more terrorists around the world than it ever detained." You know, that entire statement is nothing more than a complete lie, and Barry knows it. He repeatedly makes the attempt to show that Guantanamo has been an abject failure because, "For over seven years, we have detained hundreds of people at Guantanamo. During that time, the system of Military Commissions at Guantanamo succeeded in convicting a grand total of three suspected terrorists. Let me repeat that: three convictions in over seven years." And just why is that Barry? Could it be that because your friends in the ACLU and some who are even now, presently serving in your administration, and working in conjunction with a somewhat willing judiciary, have been using every legal maneuver possible to drag out the entire process? No, how could that be, you’re trying to keep us safe, right?

He goes on to say that, "Now, over the last several weeks, we have seen a return of the politicization of these issues that have characterized the last several years. I understand that these problems arouse passions and concerns. They should. We are confronting some of the most complicated questions that a democracy can face. But I have no interest in spending our time re-litigating the policies of the last eight years. I want to solve these problems, and I want to solve them together as Americans. And we will be ill served by some of the fear-mongering that emerges whenever we discuss this issue. Listening to the recent debate, I’ve heard words that are calculated to scare people rather than educate them; words that have more to do with politics than protecting our country." Fear-mongering? Everything, and I do mean everything, Barry has done since taking office, with regard to National Security, has done nothing if not place this country and every person in it in far greater danger than they were in just roughly 120 days ago. And he does show any kind of a willingness to solve these problems together with anybody. It should be painfully obvious by now that it’s Barry’s way or the highway. Things have progressed to the point now where any rational thinking American should be asking the question, just whose side is this guy on anyway. Fear-mongering, yeah right! Still trying to convince us that he has our safety near and dear to his heart he claims, "As our efforts to close Guantanamo move forward, I know that the politics in Congress will be difficult. These issues are fodder for 30-second commercials and direct mail pieces that are designed to frighten. I get it. But if we continue to make decisions from within a climate of fear, we will make more mistakes. And if we refuse to deal with these issues today, then I guarantee you that they will be an albatross around our efforts to combat terrorism in the future. I have confidence that the American people are more interested in doing what is right to protect this country than in political posturing. I am not the only person in this city who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution – so did each and every member of Congress. Together we have a responsibility to enlist our values in the effort to secure our people, and to leave behind the legacy that makes it easier for future Presidents to keep this country safe." If anyone is doing any political posturing, Barry need look no further than the nearest mirror to identify the biggest culprit in that area.

Going back to bash the Bush years yet again he states that, "In all of the areas that I have discussed today, the policies that I have proposed represent a new direction from the last eight years. To protect the American people and our values, we have banned enhanced interrogation techniques. We are closing the prison at Guantanamo. We are reforming Military Commissions, and we will pursue a new legal regime to detain terrorists. We are declassifying more information and embracing more oversight of our actions, and narrowing our use of the State Secrets privilege. These are dramatic changes that will put our approach to national security on a surer, safer and more sustainable footing, and their implementation will take time. There is a core principle that we will apply to all of our actions: even as we clean up the mess at Guantanamo, we will constantly re-evaluate our approach, subject our decisions to review from the other branches of government, and seek the strongest and most sustainable legal framework for addressing these issues in the long-term. By doing that, we can leave behind a legacy that outlasts my Administration, and that endures for the next President and the President after that; a legacy that protects the American people, and enjoys broad legitimacy at home and abroad." Just who is it that forms this contingency abroad to whom we must legitimize our need to protect ourselves? People like the French, who provide the definition of gutless and appeasement oriented cowardice. We are fighting for our survival and we need not have to justify ourselves or our tactics to anyone. No one should be permitted to dictate to us how it is that we shall defend ourselves. Let them lose 3,000 of their citizens and lets see how far they would be willing to go to prevent more needless deaths. Coming from Barry this is nothing more that hypocritical nonsense. And rambling continued, "We see that, above all, in how the recent debate has been obscured by two opposite and absolutist ends. On one side of the spectrum, there are those who make little allowance for the unique challenges posed by terrorism, and who would almost never put national security over transparency. On the other end of the spectrum, there are those who embrace a view that can be summarized in two words: "anything goes." Their arguments suggest that the ends of fighting terrorism can be used to justify any means, and that the President should have blanket authority to do whatever he wants – provided that it is a President with whom they agree." I hardly think that under President Bush we ever came close to, as Barry puts it, an "anything goes" mentality, and there’s Barry’s whole screwy notion about the necessity for being transparent, transparent to whom exactly? Barry’s terrorist buddies, that’s who!

Toward the end of the speech the crap REALLY started to get a little too deep with Barry claiming, "I can stand here today, as President of the United States, and say without exception or equivocation that we do not torture, and that we will vigorously protect our people while forging a strong and durable framework that allows us to fight terrorism while abiding by the rule of law. Make no mistake: if we fail to turn the page on the approach that was taken over the past several years, then I will not be able to say that as President. And if we cannot stand for those core values, then we are not keeping faith with the documents that are enshrined in this hall." And in ending what was nothing more than just one more campaign speech Barry said, "This must be our common purpose. I ran for President because I believe that we cannot solve the challenges of our time unless we solve them together. We will not be safe if we see national security as a wedge that divides America – it can and must be a cause that unites us as one people, as one nation. We have done so before in times that were more perilous than ours. We will do so once again." The sad truth of the matter here is that Barry can use all the pretty words he wants, read with perfection from his teleprompter, but he no desire to work together with anyone except those like minded traitors he associates with. And there is no wedge that is being driven into the dividing of America except that one being used by Barry. The opposition is doing nothing more than presenting the stark truth and the reality regarding what it is that Barry is ardently trying to accomplish and the extreme danger that he is so willingly to bring upon us. If we bring ourselves to unite behind his twisted ideas for how best to defend ourselves there can be only be one result. The consequences of such a mindset will be deadly, and not for the terrorist, but for millions of American citizens.

I THANK GOD FOR DICK CHANEY and hope for the sake of the county that he will continue to speak out against what it is that Barry wishes to perpetrate against our country!

TO MY FELLOW FLORIDIANS, CRIST IS NOT THE ONE!

When I heard that Charlie Crist had decided to throw his hat into the ring and run for the Senate, I thought to myself, the Republican Party can do a whole lot better for itself than having as its candidate someone like Crist, who is nothing if not just another political opportunist. The very last thing we need in the Senate is another limp wristed Republican in name only. You may all recall that he was a very vocal advocate for John McCain and an ardent supporter for the passage of Obama’s wasteful stimulus package. He does not represent conservatism but instead is a believer in the same faulty philosophy as that of other "moderate" Republicans and he will do nothing to advance the conservative cause in Congress. We need to decide whether we simply want to send one more of what we have too many of in Washington, or someone who will actually put the country before their own personal political ambition. Not only can we do better than Crist, we must!   Electing a John McCain wanna be can only result in the prolonging of the amount of time it will take us to once more return adult supervision to the running of government. We don’t need another Republican who is willing to simply go along for the ride with the current administration’s plans to financially, and every other way, ruin our country. We need a strong advocate for conservative principles, something that I am fairly confident that we would not see coming from a Senator Crist. I had to chuckle when he said he had decided to run because of the people. Sorry Charlie, I’m just not buying it, he’s doing it for no one other than Charlie Crist. Which is fine, I guess, just don’t try tell me it’s because of the people, because it’s not.

BARRY AND THE DEMOCRATS CONTINUE EFFORTS TO DIVIDE AND CONQUER

A critical element in their plan to march toward the successful completion of the socialist agenda that Barry and the Democrats wish to force upon this country, is their continuing effort to actively encourage class warfare. They are constantly trying to conceive of new ways to stir up those who, thanks to Democrats, perceive themselves to be the "have nots" against those who are perceived to be the "haves." They attempt to accomplish this little feat through the skillful and creative use of a highly effective dis-information campaign consisting of lies, innuendo and the effective burying of facts that would otherwise expose their plan for exactly what it is, pure B.S. It is a deceptive campaign, which is very enthusiastically supported and even expanded upon by their cohorts in an obviously politically corrupt and blatantly dishonest news media. They continually harp on the "fact" that the rich in this country are getting richer at the expense of the poor, who are as a direct result, in their opinion, getting poorer. Democrats are confident that by convincing the "poor" that they are being exploiting by the dishonest "rich" they can enhance their ability to increase their political power. Their constant agitation of the so-called poor can be seen as going all the way back as far as you care to look.

Today’s obvious Socialists such as Barry "Almighty" want nothing more than to expand their already all encompassing entitlement programs and income redistribution schemes, by attempting to perpetuate the myth through that which is nothing more than purely political propaganda. They simply ignore any and all evidence that contradicts the facts regarding their ploy to convince the sympathetic, and one could argue somewhat naïve, voters that the poor continue to be victimized by the evil rich, who continue to get even richer. The evidence they are so willing to ignore, bury or simply cast aside as irrelevant or as being unsubstantiated, does reveal that the rich may be getting richer, but it also shows that the poor are getting richer as well. In a study of such things that was done it was revealed that only 5 percent of those in the bottom fifth of the of the income distribution in 1975 remained there in 1991. Further it was shown 3 out of 10 of the lowest income earners in 1975 moved all the way into the top fifth of income earners by 1991. Those who were poor in 1975 had an inflation-adjusted average income gain of $27,745 by 1991. Those workers in the top fifth of income earners in 1975 were better off in 1991 by an average of only $4,354. The truth of the matter is that the average poor in America has more living space than the average non-poor individual living in Paris, London, Athens and practically any other European city.

Liberal Democrats love to focus on the nonsensical notion that the poor are stuck in their status because of those who are perceived to be in a position to take advantage of them. They do so because it tugs at the hearts of decent people and it fits in nicely with their agenda for expanding the size and cost government sponsored entitlement programs. But there’s just one thing wrong with their premise, it’s all based on a lie. At a time when nearly three quarters of "poor" households own a car and 30 percent own two or more cars, 78 percent of the "poor" own a VCR or DVD player, 62 percent have cable or satellite television and a third have a dishwasher, we’re supposed believe these people are just so terribly bad off and to the point of being destitute. If we’re all being honest with one another, it’s plain to see that long term poverty in America today is nothing if not self-inflicted and knowing what it takes to avoid being trapped in it is not rocket science. The rules of the game for excelling in America are really pretty simple. All you have to do is to; 1) Graduate from High School, 2) Get married "before" you have kids, and stay married, 3) Work at any job, even one that starts out paying the minimum wage. Any last but not least, probably the easiest thing of all, avoid engaging in criminal behavior. All in all these are pretty simple rules that virtually guarantee success. And there is absolutely nothing that government can do to ensure the same degree of success as that of simply following these commonsense rules of life.

The longer the "poor" in this country allow themselves to be so easily manipulated by the Democrats the longer they will be effectively hampering their own ability to successfully move up the economic ladder and to achieve their own version of prosperity. If they wish to ever become upwardly mobile, economically speaking, it would behoove them greatly to send Barry and the Democrats packing. But it would seem that at least for now anyway, they just don’t seem to get it and I’m not really sure why. I don’t know if it’s because they enjoy wallowing in their self-perpetuating misery created by their own hands or if they are simply content living day to day totally dependant on government handouts paid for by their fellow citizens. Either way they have permitted themselves to become nothing more than pawns of the Democrat Party to be exploited for no other reason than to present those very same Democrats with an opportunity to increase their political power. They must come to understand that the survival of the country must come first and that only if we all stand united can be save America. Fore if we allow the Democrats to divide us then our country will surely be doomed and we all, rich and poor alike, will find ourselves having to live with the same consequences.

RIGHTS vs PRIVILEGES

Even before he was elected it was very plain to see that Barry’s vision of what America should be was radically different from that of a majority of Americans. And yet, he was elected. Now having saddled ourselves with this man we are now in the unfortunate position of having to deal with his rather perverted vision. What should be obvious by now 100+ days after his inauguration, to any person spending anytime at all watching Barry "Almighty", is that as he goes about his business of altering the face of America it’s very easy to see that he plans to make his vision our reality. And if people are being honest with themselves, which they must be if we are to survive, they should be able to plainly see what it is he is attempting to accomplish and if they care about this country at all they should be very fearful of what his end goal is. Everywhere we look we see that he is on the march leftward and how he is not above using any tactic at his disposal in his attempt to move this country ever closer to that which his favorite governing system, Socialism. Above all else Barry and his fellow Democrats are desperate to convince as many of our average, uninformed and under educated Americans as they possibly can that the "rights" we Americans enjoy are, in fact, not ‘rights" in the truest sense at all. They are instead to be considered as rewards, to be doled out by the government to those deserving. Barry and the Democrats, using their allies in the media, work to make us all believe that our "rights" that have been handed down to us by our God, are instead nothing more than privileges. They are privileges to be earned from those who are in positions of power, the so-called political elitists that make up our omnipotent government.

You see, Barry, the all seeing and all knowing Messiah, is on a quest, a quest to move our government as rapidly as possible into such a position that it becomes, essentially, nothing more than the master of our plantation. The end result of this little maneuver of his is to get us all to a place where it is that we the people become totally enslaved by it and to it. We are to become totally subservient in all ways and made to think that the government knows best, convinced that it alone what’s best for our own good. Barry and the Democrats are doing their level best to convince us that it’s all our own idea because, you see, it’s in our best interest for the government to control us. Their method of choice used to instruct us and to ensure we come around to their way of thinking and to do what we are told and when, is to convince just enough of us of the notion that the government is the true source of all our privileges formerly known to us as individual "rights". It is the government that will now decide who it is that is to be eligible to receive those basic privileges that up to now had been referred to as God given rights and were to be enjoyed by all men.

The incredible arrogance that is continually exhibited by these Democrats never ceases to amaze me. That they should have the gall to consider themselves to be the sole arbiter of what it is that all Americans should have the freedom to do clearly shows the God complex that they all seem to suffer from. These charlatans and monumentally corrupt quacks, these fraudulent elitists, who continually seem to presume to know what’s best for we the people, wish to use the restricting of our God given "rights" as nothing more than a method of behavior modification. The sooner we Americans realize this the sooner we may be able to stem the tide of the rapid and radical move to the left that we are currently embarked upon. Because we seem to take our freedoms and rights for granted as we do, we are, in effect, actually aiding Barry in exactly what it is he is trying to accomplish. To behave in such a manner is to demonstrate that we really do not take those very same "rights" very seriously and as something that have, in fact, been handed down by God.  And by doing so we are doing nothing more than actively encouraging Barry and his fellow Democrats to take ownership of them and to then dispense them as they see fit. And we’re liable not to even notice when we have lost them until it’s too late, way too late.

The bottom line here is basically pretty simple. Will we Americans decide to put up the requisite amount of resistance that will prevent Barry and the Democrats from altering the landscape regarding those freedoms bestowed upon each and every one of us and are endowed to us by our creator? Will we work to safeguard what few rights it is that we have left, or will be simply sit back and allow Barry to waltz right in and take complete ownership and assume complete authority over the dispensing of those "rights". Do we allow Barry to literally control those individual rights that are to be enjoyed by all so that he may then choose who is to be permitted to enjoy them and who is not simply as he sees fit? Is he to be the one who decides who is worthy and who is not? As it now stands, none of the rights delineated in the Constitution as having their source in God, have survived as originally conceived and written. There has been a certain degree of erosion that has been taking place practically since the day those words were drafted. Culminating today, with the help of Barry, the Democrats as well as our corrupted media, the result of that erosion is coming to fruition and frighteningly close to having the desired effect so hoped for by Barry, where our "rights" may ultimately become nonexistent as originally conceived. With the arrival on the scene of Barry and his Democrat majority, what we now have going on is an unprecedented attempt by our government, a government originally put in place to protect our rights, to do completely the opposite by severely limiting what freedoms we possess. Where’s the outrage? Have we Americans simply become compliant when it comes to allowing the government to quite literally usurp authority over that which has been endowed to us by our Creator? Have we resigned ourselves to the fact that yes the government should be the controlling authority for what "rights" we are to be permitted to enjoy? Have we gotten to the point where we are now perfectly content in our willingness to allow the government to completely alter the very definition of what our "rights" are to be? Are they to become nothing more than mere privileges to be either earned or lost based on the behavior of the recipient? If so, then we have truly lost what it was that the Founders provided to us. If not then it is now time for us to either S**T or get off the pot, time is rapidly running out!

BEWARE OF THOSE WHO ARE AMERICAN IN NAME ONLY

We are all familiar with those who are fondly, or not so fondly, referred to as "Republicans in name only," we had one as our candidate in the last election. Now while these individuals have done little to protect our republic from liberal Democrats, it is still not these people, these RINOs, who represent the greatest danger nor the most serious threat currently facing this country. Because if recent elections are any indication, it would appear that we have now arrived at a place and time where it could be very possible that the fate of our republic now lies in the hands of a rather ignorant and self serving voting public. It is a voting public, a substantial segment of which, that habitually reveals itself to be made up of nothing more than Americans in name only. It is this specific group of voters who can claim ownership of the biggest share of the responsibility for where it is that we, as a country, presently find ourselves. And where we are is teetering on the brink of not only a total and complete financial collapse, but what can also be seen as the loss of all or most of our highly prized individual liberties. It is because these people who possess some twisted sense of entitlement, are happily content to simply sit back and enjoy the free ride being paid for by the hard-earned tax dollars of their fellow citizens. They see no need, nor do the feel any personal obligation or responsibility on their part, to contribute to cost of maintaining their, and our freedoms. Hence, they continually choose to support, politically speaking, those who they see as being the ones who they can count on to take the necessary action that will virtually guarantee they will never be called upon to pay their own way. Their priorities revolve around only themselves, therefore, they will vote for whomever they see as willing to promise them that which they want most, womb to tomb care courtesy of the government.  They also find it very easy to continue to vote for those who serve only to actively encourage their rather limited aspirations of essentially becoming nothing more than permanent wards of the state. From their ignorance springs the ability of those they support to completely undermine the very foundation of this country. They are completely oblivious to the fact that freedom, as the old saying goes, is not free and it is not easy. It requires work, hard work, by all and that absolutely nobody deserves to get a free ride. But to these people work is just another dirty four-letter word and is something that is beneath them. They see themselves as being deserving of their free ride. Somehow they must be made to understand that freedom does not come with an autopilot, that it requires the active participation of everyone involved because if it fails we all will suffer the consequences. Instead, what they have effectively chosen to do is to sell their country out for the sake of a free lunch, selling not only their soul but that of the rest us as well to the Devil.

Another segment of America that is overwhelmingly populated by these Americans in name only, is today’s mainstream media in this country. These organizations have essentially become nothing more than extensions of the Democrat Party and have become increasingly responsible for the selling of the liberal agenda to a willfully ignorant American public that is kept under informed. Any notion that what we have in this country is a free and independent press is nothing more than a pure pipe dream. Americans are supposed be able to trust those in the media to provide them with unfiltered and unbiased information. However, the very sad fact of the matter is, that Charlie, Brian and Katie along with just about every other major "news" outlet have, realistically speaking, degenerated into what amounts to as nothing more than an extremely effective Democrat propaganda machine. This all-encompassing media machine is determined in its attempt to sway public opinion by any and all means necessary into favoring the Democrat point of view on every issue of importance. From taxes, to judicial nominations, to healthcare and especially to how we conduct what is now being referred to as our, "Overseas Contingency Operation" the media is determined to paint any point of view that does not have as its origin the Democrat Party as simply nonsense and totally unworkable. It is obvious that our major "news" outlets of today possess a very sinister agenda that has them busily working overtime like little beavers in their effort to aid and abet Liberal Democrats in any way possible. We constantly see them working in unison with their Democrat task masters as they work to move this country even more drastically to the left. And it would seem that no method of deception is to be considered taboo in the manipulation of the public if it can be successfully used to accomplish Barry’s goals. From selective omissions in news stories to outright lies, our "news" media continues to present as fact that which is in truth nothing more than pure fiction. They practice the fine art of subterfuge to further the liberal Democrat cause at all costs. And what should be painfully obvious to even the most casual of observers is that what we have in the country is essentially one source for "news" and "information." Realistically speaking, what we have is something that is eerily similar to a "Pravda" style "news" organization of the old Soviet Union, and one that is populated by a great many who are American in name only.

And of course Americans in name only also come in the form of sleazy and corrupt politicians. Politicians, mainly found to reside in the Democrat Party and who continue to rake in millions of votes willingly given by the more ignorant members of our electorate, in exchange for ridiculously expensive and never ending entitlement programs. All for the sole reason of ensuring that the voters with whom they have struck a bargain will allow them to continue in political power. These pathetic, narcissistic politicians love to wrap themselves in the flag while at the same time seeming to go out of their way in their exhibiting of a traitorous behavior. They take very opportunity to effectively, and with great zeal, shove a knife into the back of America, doing their best to paint it as nothing more than the cause for all that is wrong in the World. We are now at a place where over 40 percent of the voting population in this country do not pay taxes and yet they receive the greatest number of benefits paid for by the tax dollars of others. Taxes are no longer seen as the primary source of the paying for the cost of government, they are now used as nothing more than the primary source for funds used to pay off Democrat supporters and voters. It is a practice that amounts to nothing more than the selling of votes in exchange for taxpayer funded goodies. It is then when these individuals, who end up being elected into positions of power,  are able to pose a very serious threat to freedom because they will have been permitted to attain powerful positions at the controls of governmental. It is these same politicians who are so desperate to obtain and keep their political power and who are above nothing in their efforts to amass as much if it as possible. And it is they who so enthusiastically fan the flames of class warfare for no other reason than that it allows them not only to tighten their grip on power already possessed but it provides an excellent opportunity to expand it as well. These politicians who are Americans in name only, take great pleasure and enjoyment in the risking of the very survival of this country for nothing more than a chance to accrue as much personal political power as possible. We know the names of the usual suspects so there’s no real need to list their names, we continue to know them by their deeds, which only serve to undermine our country. They truly are Americans in name only.

Then we have those who have no reservation whatsoever concerning the berating of a country that has allowed them to accumulate great wealth and notoriety. From classless, know-nothing entertainers, blatantly leftist professors, corrupt businessmen like that fella named Soros and of course those very same politicians mentioned earlier, none would have been presented with the opportunities that have enabled them to live the lives that they do were it not for the freedoms and liberties enjoyed by all who are blessed to live in this country. But, it seems that is simply not enough for them. Even those individuals who have gained so much and yet provided so little in return that is of even the slightest social redeeming nature do the loudest criticizing of the country that allows them to do so. These people who, if they had had the misfortune of living anywhere but in America, would not have been in anywhere near the position to earn the amounts of money that they have and yet they still feel the need, seemingly almost compelled, to slander the very country that has allowed them to excel and prosper to such a degree. You can often hear many of these people loudly proclaiming that they are ashamed of being American, that America has done, and continues to do, so much harm to the planet as well as to millions of people who inhabit it. But yet they still want us to fork over our hard earned money to go to their movies, their concerts, buy their cd's, watch their television shows or spend it on any number of other ventures that bring them in big money. They too are nothing but Americans in name only.

And today we have as president one who can easily be considered as being one of those Americans in name only, at least we think he’s American. He is doing his best to alter all that America has come to stand for and he has many eager followers to assist him in his endeavor to fundamentally redefine all that is America. He is desperately attempting to inflict upon this country a corrupt philosophy that is less about the rights of the individual and more about an all-powerful government that is to be the dispenser of rights, privileges and freedoms. His priorities are completely askew. The saving of American lives has got to be of paramount concern, and of the least concern should be any worry about offending the sensibilities of those who are busy trying to kill us. By his recent actions he has revealed himself and his administration as being somewhat less that serious about the protecting of American lives. He is truly the epitome of the American in name only.

TAKING JUST A MOMENT TO REMINISCE

Have you ever been driving along, minding your business, thinking about nothing in particular when a certain song comes on the radio that immediately takes you back to a time in your youth?  Well it was just such a thing that happended to me just the other day.  I happened to be listening to a country station, something I rarely do these days, when a song came on the radio that I remember hearing when going somewhere with my dad, who was a big country music fan.  And in remembering that song I also remembered the time in my life that I first remember hearing that song on that short road trip with my dad.

The name of the song is unimportant, what is of more importance and is the reason for my bringing it up here is that it had the same effect on me as if I had just stepped into a time machine that suddenly, and without warning, transported me back to another time and another place.  Now granted, my perspective on things has definitely changed over the years, but it just seemed that at that time in my life it appeared to be a much less complicated time.  But what it also was, was a time when people took their obligations to one another and their family responsibilities much more seriously.  They did not go looking for the government to bail them out of something created by their own carelessness or stupidity.  It was a time when people felt that to ask for assistance from the government was considered as nothing more than asking for a handout, and would imply that they were incapable of taking care of their own.  My father worked two jobs to provide for his family and would have considered it an embarrassment to have been forced to take some sort of aid from the government.  How things have changed.  Today personal responsibility is nearly nonexistent.

It was also a time I remember beginning each school day by reciting the Lords Prayer and being led in the Pledge of Allegiance by the voice of the principal coming through the loudspeaker.  And it was a time, as I remember, that my teachers seemed to know a little something about the subject matter they were teaching.  Again, not so today, where many teachers seem to know less about what they're teaching than do the students they are teaching.

And as I look back at that time I don't seem to remember ever seeing any warning labels for foul language on what was then record albums which were being sold in stores, and words did not have to be bleeped out of the songs being played on the radio.  And I don't ever remember being forced to see someone's naked butt on a program I was watching a television, or when listening to a comedian whose every other word was the F word.  I remember watching Red Skelton every week and laughing until my sides hurt and never once did I ever hear anything profane.  Back then you could go to a scary movie and not be exposed to the senseless and desensitizing violence that seems to be a staple in any movie today that's called a horror picture.  And you could go to a movie and be pretty certain that five minutes into it you wouldn't be subjected to a gratuitous sex scene leaving next to nothing to the imagination, which is pretty hard to escape from when going to see just about any movie above a G rating today.  And it was a time when movie stars were just that.  They were people who were actual role models, who we all wanted to emulate because they didn't go around slamming their country, they were proud of it and let it show.  Many had even participated in the military.  They were are far cry for the supposed movie stars of today who are nothing more than misfits who have found a home in that nutville referred to as Hollywood.  People with names like Penn, Speilberg, Sheen and Robbins to name just a few.

And finally it was a time when a solid majority of people were not only proud of their country but proud to be a citizen of it and when those newly arriving here could not wait to call themselves Americans.  When I look around and see how much the face of America has changed in what is, realistically speaking, a very short time I am somewhat fearful when considering what an equal amount of time into the future will bring.  Will we continue on what appears to be a downward spiral?  If things have deteriorated to such a point as they have from that time to the present, what is it that may be waiting for us in the not too distant future?

BARRY CONTINUES VENDETTA AGAINST LIBERTY WHILE SUPPORT REMAINS STRONG

I don't mean to go off on a rant here but ........ I must admit that it has now gotten to the point where it is extremely difficult for me to stomach even the sound of Barry's voice.  I don't know if it is his smugness, his arrogance, the sickeningly condescending manner in which he addresses all those of us little people or, if it's a combination of all that just drives me over the edge.  And of course, there is his total and complete lack of character and his ability to lie with such ease that are also of great concern to me as well because they are more than just a little unnerving.  All of these traits are easily visible if one only takes the time and is truly willing to look, since they are on constant display on a daily basis as he goes about his business of attemnpting to accomplish that which is nothing short of the complete dismantling of America.  I just had to laugh when I heard that he had recently made the comment that yes, he does have a real gift for public speaking, because it was just one more typical example where the bloated ego of Barry "Almighty" was on full display for all to see.  But I must beg to differ with Barry on this one, because what he in fact has been blessed with is not a gift for public speaking but instead a real gift for being nothing more than a very skillful, even artful, and able liar.  The image of him being some silver-tongued orator, some reincarnate of Stepen Douglas or the like, has been very well contructed, just as everything else about him has and is just another aspect of him that is completely fraudulent.  Because without his ever-present telepromptor he would make George W. Bush seem much more like Ronald Reagan.  I mean let's be real here.

I remain truly confounded by the appeal that he continues to maintain with a majority of Americans, that is if you can believe recent polls.  At a time when he is doing his very best to quite literally destroy not only our economic system but our healthcare system as well, 60 percent of us seem to think that he is doing a good job.  During his 100 day celebratory press conference he had the gall to say that he wanted "to disabuse people of the notion that somehow we enjoy, you know, meddling in the private sector."  Excuse me, but what part of our private secotr has not yet been meddled with?  NONE really, and he is not through with his meddling yet, with even more meddling with our healthcare system next on his hit list.  He went on to say that, "If you could tell me right now that when I walked into this office that the banks were humming, that autos were selling and that all you had to worry about was Iraq, Afghanistan, North Korea, getting healthcare passed, figuring out how to deal with energy independence, deal with Iran, and a pandemic flu, I would take that deal."  I swear, I thought I was going to puke!  Then came the real laugher, when he said, "You know, I don't want to run auto companies, I don't want to run banks."  Well, you sure could have fooled me, what a freakin crock!  He says he's amused by the fact that people think that he wants to grow the size of government.  Gee, I wonder what might have put that thought in their head?  Does he really think we're that stupid?  Well, obviously some of us are in fact that stupid.  And by the way, out of the last 100 days how many of them has Barry actually spend working?

This is a man who has admitted to us, even before he was elected, that what he wants to do is to "remake" America.  Into what, exactly?  Ok, so you don'y like anything about the last eight years, we have had a peaceful transition of power since then, it's called an election, and to the victor goes the chance to lead and to make policy, but that's as far as it is supposed to go!  The wholesale remaking of what's left of our republic is something that not becomes an option.  We have a Constitution that is supposed to upheld as they way our government is supposed to function, it provide the rule by which all are to abide, not to attempt to scrap for what's perceived to be a better idea at the time.  Victory in an election is not something that translates into something that provides the victor his opportunity to "remake" anything.  And with a thought processthat has as its central them that of never letting a good crisis go to waste, Im sorry but I just cannot bring myself to see this man as anything other than what he is, a scheming, power hungry opportunist.  He is a man who has been sold to us by the media as a man who is to be looked upon as our savior, but who is, in all actuality, nothing more than just another politician of the most corrupt variety who is out to accrue as much political power for himself and his party as possible.  The new "crisis" that is now to be utilized to manipulate a far too gullible public, is this supposed impening pandemic of the "pig flu."  The fear being propagated by Barry and amplified by his media chorts is all nothing more than a deceitfully crafted ploy to weaken our defenses with respect to us becoming more willing to allow the government to increase its role in the healthcare system of this country.  It is a faux crisisto be capitalized upon to reduce even more of our individual rights and personal liberties, too many of which have already been sacrificed at the altar of Barry's expansionist policies for inceasing the overall size of government and the scope of it's powers.

COME ON PEOPLE, THE TIME HAS COME FOR US ALL TO SEE THIS BUM FOR WHAT HE IS, A SKILLED AND MANIPULATING OPPORTUNIST AS WELL AS A VERY SKILLFUL AND OBVIOUS LIAR!
