Earlier this week, when what we should have all been talking about was the vote to be taken by the House of Representatives regarding the Cap and Trade legislation, what were we talking about instead? Yep, you guessed it, the death of yet another bizarre entertainer. At a time when there is one unconstitutional act after another being committed by our "Supreme Leader" and his Party, so many of us remain totally oblivious to all of the blatant illegalities and are happily content to do so. Instead, what we seem so fixated on and fascinated by are life's trivilaities such as the death of one more wack-job who throughout his life made not one significant contribution to society or put forth one ounce of effort toward the betterment of his fellow man. And yet he collected and blew millions of dollars. And just what was his claim to fame? He could sing and dance! Well whoopee, yip, yip yahoo! Big freakin deal! However, in the big scheme of things, I simply do not put that on the same level as the current dismantling of my country brick by brick that has been going on now for the last 6 months. Sorry, but I just can't bring myself to do that! There are much more important things going on right now and we should not waste a significant amount of time on the death one person. There is just no need to smother out all other information, that is actually important news, because of the death of a singer. He's been called a cultural phenomenon, judging by the current state of our culture, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Even FOX News, on the night before the big vote on what is essentially the biggest tax increase in history, all anybody wanted to talk about was Michael Jackson. I’m sorry, but his death had absolutely no impact on my life or on my family. None, Zero, Zip, Zilch and Nadda. While what the Democrats are planning will not only have a lasting impact on my life, but on that of every single American, rich or poor. Come on folks, lets all get a grip here, look around you at what’s being done to our country. I’m sorry he’s dead I really am, it’s sad for anyone to die that young and leave a family behind. But do we really need the 24/7 news coverage? And why the heck is it even "news" in the first place? Just tell me he’s gone and then let me mourn or celebrate his death in my own way on my own terms. It’s the same thing with all the stupid nonsense about those two morons Jon and Kate plus their 8 rugrats. Just why do I need to be subjected to this dysfunctional little family unit? She’s nothing more than a controlling bi*ch and he never made it past 16, mentally, and that's really all I need, or care, to know about either one of them. If I want any more information than that regarding any of these people I will actively go in search of the outlets that serve up this type of drivel. NOT! There are just more important things to worry about right now than the lives of these insignificant people who serve no useful function or purpose other than to entertain us. To think otherwise is just warped. The country is going to Hell in a handbasket and we're all falling apart because some singer died.
And ya know what, I’d be willing to bet a weeks pay that out of all those bimbos who were walking around my workplace yesterday talking about poor Michael, very few if any, had the slightest clue about what was going on in Congress. And yet, these are the very same morons who, after all this crap goes into effect, who will be complaining the loudest. That will be when I will most likely have the almost uncontrollable urge to say, "Hey stupid, these are the very same idiots you voted for!" Then they’ll get all indignant and have the nerve to claim otherwise. These people just kill me. God help us!
