The Church Committee is the common term referring to the United States Senate Select Committee to Study Government Operations with Respect to Intelligence Activities, yes it’s quite a mouthful. Anyway, it was a U.S. Senate committee chaired by Senator Frank Church (D-ID) back in 1975. Now, the reason I bring this up is quite simple really, it’s because it provides a certain history regarding how it was that we came to find ourselves in the predicament we found ourselves in on 9/10. It is very much a fact that much of the intelligence failure of 9/11 was a direct result of the Church Commission activities of the 1970s that forced this country to pull back from our spying throughout the world. And today that saga is continued by Barry "Almighty" with his signaling that he is now open to the prosecution of Bush Administration personnel who gave any "legal opinion" that allowed for the use of supposed "harsh" interrogation techniques. And with a Barry crony Attorney General, now saying he plans to go forward with an investigation of the CIA, I’m sure ol" Frank is looking down and smiling.

Now our stellar president and his goof of a sidekick, AG Eric Holder, have taken it upon themselves to once more travel down that very well worn path traveled by so many Democrats past and present to once again denigrate the CIA. These people who are working so hard to keep this country and all who live here safe and who continue to be maligned over supposed "harsh" interrogation techniques and shabby job performance. If Barry and his merry band of traitors continues with this obvious Democrat vendetta against members of the Bush Administration, then, in effect what they will wind up accomplishing will be as chilling to our intelligence operations as was the effect of the Church Commission in the 20+ years that lead up to 9/11. And it begs the question, "Just whose side is Barry on anyway." And will it have the result that ol’ Frank could have only dreamed about. But doesn’t it seem just a little more than ironic that at a time when Barry is targeting terrorist leaders as well as their families with missile firing drones, and has issued the order for Navy snipers to take out a couple of pirates to save a US citizen, that Barry finds it offensive to try to scare the be jesus out of some terrorists enough to do some talking.

Barry seems so shocked at the methods used in the interrogation of these murdering thugs, these killers of innocent people and yet over the course of these "harsh" interrogations no one has died and no one’s family members have been harmed. At a time when terrorists were busying themselves lopping of the heads of any unfortunate soul they could find, our CIA was doing the best it could to protect us from further attacks by using that most dreaded of tools, waterboarding on a very select few individuals and on one occasion shooting off a gun in an interrogation room during the questioning of a terrorist. Barry has his panties all in a twist over these examples of "torture" as well as any number of other innocuous and essentially harmless interrogation methods and now wants heads to roll. Bush Administration heads, because it’s ALL their fault. In one breath he states, and with some conviction, or at least as much as he can muster, that he is intent on not looking backward, about how he’s not looking to place blame, that he wants only to look to the future. It’s all a charade, or to be more blunt, A LIE! What he actually intends to carryout amounts to nothing more than a witch hunt against those who were even remotely involved in obtaining much needed information to keep more Americans from dying. On a determined mission that would make Frank proud, Barry is determined in his creating an environment of fear that will undoubtedly cripple our already weakened intelligence apparatus. Barry just loves to go on and on about how he wakes every morning deeply concerned about the safety of our country. But nothing could be further from the truth.

Let’s take just a few seconds here to at least attempt to put things into some sort of perspective, shall we. Let’s be honest, there is much that our country has done that is far more torturous than the waterboarding of a few terrorists, or the releasing of a caterpillar into a room where a known terrorist is being interrogated, in an attempt to obtain valuable information that could save American lives. Can anybody say, "Branch Davidians?" I seem to remember something about that great legal mind, Janet Reno working for BJ Clinton and her directive to create high intensity lighting and loud music so that those inside the Branch Davidian compound couldn’t sleep hoping that it would eventually convince them to surrender. Torture? I guess that would be based on your point of view as well as maybe your political persuasion. And how many criminals are tasered every day? Now I’m not sure having never been on the receiving end of either, but I would guess that tasers are most likely just as extreme and injurious, if not more so, to a person as being waterboarded. Or, how about the psychological effects of prison inmates being subjected to solitary confinement, don’t liberals whine about that being a form of torture? Come on, it’s time for a little dose of reality here. When I was in the Navy I had friends that we subjected to waterboarding as part of their training. So, now it’s something we can’t use as an effective method to gain potentially vital information. GIVE ME A BREAK!

Barry’s willingness to go through with this baseless investigation essentially has two purposes. One is to use it as nothing more than a diversionary tactic, a distraction, regarding his failed attempt, thus far at least, to convince the American people that what they truly want is socialized medicine. The other purpose of this whole bizarre ploy is an attempt to humiliate the CIA, going out of his way to place this country once again in harms way in order to satisfy his loony left wing base. Thus satisfying their rabid hatred of anyone even remotely connected to the Bush Administration. His is determined to move us back to a 9/10 mentality, to put this country at even greater risk for years to come. He is well on his way to ensuring that we face the very same consequences created by that moron Frank Church and his stupid commission back in the 70s. Consequences that made the event of 9//11 not only possible but virtually guaranteed its success. For those who have any doubt about the fact that history does in fact repeat itself, you are now witnessing that very scenario as it plays itself out right in front of our very eyes..

A few comments upon the recent demise of a man who was in all reality nothing more than a lecher, a drunk, a blowhard, as well as a pompous jerk who, quite literally, got away with murder. On the day of his finally departing this Earth, I can only say, and very cheerfully so, good riddance! There will be, no doubt, many who will lament the fact that he was taken from us all too soon, that he still had so much to do that would have been of benefit to his fellow man. I would argue, however, that we were stuck with his sorry butt for far too long, during which time he was able to succeed in the inflicting of irreparable damage to our country that will, in all likelihood, last for generations. So, to say that I am sorry to see ol’ Teddy bite the big one, and finally leave this world behind, would be a lie. If that sounds more than a little cold, well then, I’m sorry. Actually, come to think of it, I’m not really all that sorry, in fact just the mere thought of his passing brings a slight, just a slight mind you, smile to my face. If we can be honest with one another and take the time to look back over the life of this pathetic excuse of a man, we would see a very long and very bloody trail of ruined lives and reputations left behind by this pathetic "Liberal Lion" of the Senate. The reputations found littering the path well traveled by this noxious politician, were a direct result of coming into contact with a man who was in all reality the equivalent of some malignant growth, or contagion, infecting our country. All who chose to disagree with him came to suffer, figuratively of course, the same fate as that which Teddy suffered from at the end of his pathetic life. Being left for dead by Teddy was nothing more than the natural outcome of having come into contact with this man if you did not happen to agree with his twisted view of what America should be. As we travel further along Teddy’s bloody trail the resulting body count coming in the form of reputations and good names ruined after some run in with this ruthless and toxic smear merchant would be far too numerous to count. And if we were to even attempt to list the names of all of his victims, that list would be nearly endless because it would span over 40 years of successful political revenge. So, we see that so many lives were ruined as a direct result of nothing more than purely partisan political reasons with all being sacrificed at the altar of Teddy’s mission of inflicting as much of his extreme liberalism in this country as possible. More often than not those who went up against Teddy ended up sacrificing themselves for their efforts to protect their country from Teddy’s onslaught. While their efforts were well intentioned, more often than not these honorable men and women would only end up being crucified at the hands of this nightmare of man. Over the years those that chose to disagree with him and with his extreme liberal agenda, were completely and utterly destroyed, plain and simple, fore you see, agreement with Teddy was mandatory, no other option was available nor open for any type of discussion. To disagree with Teddy came at a very high price but one that one must be willing to pay if one’s beliefs were to be defended. The fact that he always seemed to take such great pleasure in the fine art of personal destruction reveals to all what a truly sick and immoral individual he was. Never much concerned about the possible consequences of his inflammatory rhetoric, Teddy was always eager to put into action his trademark tactics of character assassination, selective misquotation, willful distortion of the record, the fabrication of falsehoods, outrageous innuendo, utter disregard for the truth and baseless accusations of everything from racism to sexual abuse. Over time, Teddy skillfully honed his trademark tactic into a highly effective and a very efficient craft. In fact, it was Teddy who was primarily responsible for the phrase "to get Borked" becoming forever a part of the American lexicon. He was the personification of the scum of the Earth and of the perpetuation of evil against his fellow man. He also served as the perfect example of how it is that the craving of absolute political power can corrupt absolutely, much the same way that turning to the dark side ultimately corrupted the man that would became "Darth Vader". Only, in the movie the villain eventually saw the error of his ways, Teddy never really left the dark side, he not only embraced it, he relished in it and he committed his life to it to the very end. That this son of a bootlegger and a mobster, this man who got away with the cold blooded murder of a young woman, could still have been permitted to go on to become a man possessing such great political power will forever remain a stain on all that this country stands for. And it is one that even after an eternity will never come clean. This creator of so much destruction, both personal and professional, deserves no mourning regarding his passing, only scorn and condemnation. His death presents us all with a real cause for celebration because the world is finally rid of this abomination, this poorest of poor excuses for a human being, a human being responsible for so much injustice and misery all in the name of perpetuating his self-serving hypocrisy. Teddy was the epitome as well as "the" recognizable symbol of all the hypocrisy and of the continuing deception being perpetrated against the citizens of this country that is the Democrat Party. Not only was he a patently dishonest politician, but a skillful practitioner of a covert form of deceit and treachery against the people of this county. He was a hateful and mean-spirited man who was the standard-bearer for all of the evil the Democrat Party has inflicted and all that it continues to inflict, on our country. He was a self-righteous hypocrite who possessed a sinister motive whereby he was dedicated to the bringing about to, make that forcing upon, the American people a form of government the basis of which is nothing more than pure political trickery. A form of government that takes more and more power out of the hands of the people and places it squarely into the hands of politicians.

I for one am extremely glad that he is finally gone and will pray everyday that this world will never be cursed with another of his kind. But alas, I know that is a false hope, because there are already many more like him out there waiting in the wings, just waiting for their opportunity to be just like Teddy. Still, anyone who feels the least bit of sadness at the passing of this waste of skin should try to put themselves in the position of that certain young lady, who, so many years ago lay trapped in a car, left to drown on that dark and cold night. Now imagine that young woman as your daughter. If life were in fact fair, ol’ Teddy would have died in the same horrific manner as that of his victim, just as every other murderer should. That would have been the fair and just fate for this man who cared so little for those who thought so very highly of him. This man was a user and an opportunist, nothing more. And I blame the stupid fools who kept this worthless man in office, they knew the type of man he was, but I guess as long as he wasn’t dating their daughters, leaving them to drown somewhere, it was all ok. I’ve spent a brief period of time in that liberal, loony bin known as Massachusetts and have gotten to experience the questionable intellect of these people first hand, where people demand to be paid under the table in order to escape the reach of the State taxman. After that, it doesn’t really surprise me that they would chose such a pathetic individual as their representative in the U.S. Senate. As well, it’s no surprise that they also seem to be very content to keep that other pompous gas bag and spreader of vitriol, that piece of human dog squeeze John Kerry Heinz and who spent a brief and cowardly time in Vietnam, in the Senate as well. Deciding to keep him there so that he can be allowed to continue inflicting his monumental stupidity on the rest of us. And now with Teddy finally having moved on, I’m sure the fine people of Massachusetts will have no trouble in locating a suitable replacement who possesses the same unique qualities as those of their fallen hero. After all, it is obvious they have set the bar pretty low in seeking anyone to satisfy their criteria to the point where, I suppose, any fat slob who happens to also be a drunk and a pervert will do. Most likely the most difficult qualification to find on any resume will be that of having murdered ones girlfriend, but then in Massachusetts maybe not. At any rate, knowing them as I do, I’m sure they will have no trouble in finding another buffoon to send to our nation’s capital as, what will now be, their junior Senator. Let us all take a brief moment to say thank you to all the morons of Massachusetts. All together now…THANK YOU MASSACHUSETTS!

Now I know there are any number of people, including many conservatives, who will be more than willing to cut this man of so little character, a substantial amount of slack. They will say his behavior was nothing more than pure politics, that at heart, he was a good and decent man who was simply out to make this country better. To that I say BUNK! Tell that to those who are still trying to put their lives back together after their little run in with Teddy because they chose to take a position that was opposite to what it was that Teddy wanted. This man was nothing more than a purveyor of tripe and drivel as well as a traitor on so many different levels. He was a faux patriot who consistently demonstrated a willingness to betray his country with relative ease while exhibiting no remorse on numerous occasions throughout his "career" during the Cold War, during the Vietnam War as well as during our present War on Terror. He was anti-American and anti-individual in every conceivable way. The damage he perpetrated against this country during his lifetime will have both long lasting and very deadly effects. And for anyone to be so cavalier in his or her willingness to chalk it all up to politics, to be perfectly blunt, is to completely ignore the facts while at the same time revealing the fact that they seem to be quite ignorant themselves. This man is deserving of nothing but contempt as he leaves this Earth. He may be remembered as a hero by his fellow liberal elitists, but he will be remembered by all freedom loving Americans as nothing more than a gutless coward, a hypocrite and a traitor! He, most of all among those in his Party, was a dedicated enemy of our Constitution and of all the rights it guarantees. While he can no longer continue in his efforts to subvert all that it stands for, he has passed the baton to any number of younger versions of himself.

Last but not least, I would like to wish for him nothing less than an eternity of damnation. I wish an eternity to be spent solely on the tending of the fires of Hell for the man formerly known as Ted Kennedy. Although, I’m sure he will be far from alone there, as there will undoubtedly be any number of his friends, close associates and colleagues as well as more than just a few family members waiting there to greet him all with open arms.

And I am so sick and as well as being very tired of hearing about all of these various "gangs" of 6, 7 or 14 or whatever the Hell it is this week, where our spineless, limp-wristed Republicans repeatedly prove themselves to be so eager to join forces with the current crop of power hungry and corrupt Democrats in order to, "compromise."  Of course by compromise I mean complete capitulation by our side. So to them I say, forget about it! Not one Republican, Zero, Zip, Zilch, Nadda one should go anywhere near the supporting of this abomination in any way, shape, manner or form. If the Democrats want this legislation to become a reality so bad, then make them pass it, all by their little lonesome with zero help whatsoever. If this fraudulent piece of legislation is passed and moves to becoming a reality there should be no Republican fingerprints anywhere near it. The most recent example of why theRepublicans should just stand back and remain completely hands off is staring them right in their collective face. It’s the current "cash for clunkers" debacle. This small-scale program, by government standards, is being so "efficiently" run by thoroughly "professional" bureaucrats, that auto dealers in many areas across the country have now decided to opt out of the program because they’re not getting reimbursed for all the money they’ve been laying out. If there is anything that can more plainly demonstrate the shear ineptitude of the Federal Government to do anything, this should do it. Of course, we also have numerous other high profile examples, you know, like the Post Office, Amtrak and Social Security to name just the big ones. And now Barry, doing his best Hillary impersonation, is out there whining like a baby and accusing all those mean old Republican leaders of being engaged in some vast right-wing conspiracy plotting to kill his attempt at healthcare "reform" all in hopes of repeating the 1994 mid-term takeover of Congress. Come on Barry, nobody likes a whiner, stop being such a crybaby. Good grief, the failure of this attempt at "reform", at least up to this point, is being blamed by Barry, on everyone from those in Talk Radio to Sarah Palin. The very real fact of the matter is, and something that should be obvious even to Barry, that the fault can be placed squarely at the feet of the power hungry Democrats and Barry "Almighty" himself. They screwed up, they got greedy and they got stupid. They have not done what a great many Americans have, READ THE BILL!  And we the American people screwed up, we trusted them!

If this "reform" bill is in fact brought to a vote, let it live or die at the hands of the Democrats. Every single Republican, and I do mean every single one, should vote against what is nothing less than an outright act of theft. The blatant theft of the right of each and every American citizen to make their own decisions regarding their critical, and quite personal, healthcare issues. If Barry and the Democrats want it so badly, then let them own it, lock, stock and barrel. After all, they have significant majorities in both Houses of Congress and they have Barry sitting there looking oh so cool in the Oval Office. In the words of Michael Steele in speaking about the Democrats, "Get it to the floor. Up or down, baby." It should be no trouble at all for them to get it passed because, in theory, they should have all the votes necessary. The time has officially arrived for the growing of some much-needed backbone by our illustrious group of Republicans in Congress. Now is not the time for them to willingly bend over, grab their ankles and compromise in some misguided effort to make this pathetic legislation "less bad." Simply saying that it would be much worse were it not for their involvement in its conception is nothing more than a very weak and pathetic excuse. It’s a cop out and it’s lame. It’s nothing but a weak-kneed response to an obvious and very aggressive assault on American freedom by the Democrats. What many Americans may not realize is that our government already controls nearly 50 percent of the healthcare in this country. We, meaning Republicans, must present a united front against any expansion of governmental power by allowing it to assume complete control over the remaining 50 percent of the American healthcare system. Anything less than that united front will result in a scenario that is essentially nothing more than the throwing of America’s elderly under the proverbial bus for the sake of providing healthcare to illegal aliens. These people are not to be considered expendable as we move on down the road in Barry’s drive to control our healthcare system despite the efforts of Barry and the Democrats. They should not be treated as if they are expendable anymore than Arlen Specter or Teddy Kennedy were considered to be obsolete. Had both these pompous gas bags been under the care of the same government run healthcare program that they are so busy trying to force on the rest of us, they’d both now be DEAD!! Which come to think about, probably wouldn’t be a bad thing.

This idea of healthcare reform or insurance reform cannot be permitted to go forward in any form. It needs to be stopped and stopped dead in its tracks right now and in its entirety. There is simply no room for compromise, NONE! There is no margin for error, the stakes are simply too high. If Barry and the Democrats are successful in their endeavor, the face of this country will be altered quite possibly for generations. And any Republicans, any at all, that go along with them in the passing of this legislation, legislation that allows the government to consume even more of our private economy will, quite simply, need to be gotten rid of. AT THE VERY FIRST OPPORTUNITY!

What Planet are they from that they think that by voting for this fraud and his mystical "hope and change" or for his "change we can all believe in" there can be even a remote chance of a positive outcome.  And how is that they can justify their action of voting for a Socialist, a socialist who now wants to reduce "their" Medicare benefits. Was it a momentary loss of reason, with them being so caught up in the spirit of Barry’s rhetoric regarding his wanting to create a more fair and equitable society through his American version of a socialist utopia? Let’s face it, these people played a major contributing factor in Americans now facing rapidly expanding government power. They willingly aided and abetted in the enhancing of a scenario that was made possible, being essentially created by our stellar news media, by their successful efforts to portray this last election as being some "historical" event and Barry, as well, in some historical context. It was historic all right and we’re now closer to becoming a Socialist country than at any other time in our history. Just how stupid are these people? So, is what Barry and the Democrats are attempting to now foist on the American enough to make that little light bulb go on for these people to the point where they may become a little less susceptible in their falling for repetitive Democrat rhetoric? Up to this point the elderly have proven themselves to be an integral part of the Democrat coalition standing there right along side the blacks and Union members. And, until they realize that Barry is willing, even eager, to throw them under the bus in his drive to accomplish his desired version of Socialized medicine, i.e., the "public option", these old folks will being doing themselves, as well as the rest of us, no favors. The bottom line here is that today’s seniors may just prove to be nothing more than Barry’s sacrificial lambs.

The scary truth of the matter regarding this healthcare reform is that if any of these people, or anybody for that matter, think that the Democrats have truly sent up the proverbial white flag when it comes to their much desired and highly sought public option, they are truly and very dangerously deluding themselves. The history of the Democrats lying about what it is that they are truly determined to accomplish here, the dreaded single payer system, goes all the way back to Harry Truman. The entire legislation, as currently written, must be scrubbed. It is nothing more than a Trojan Horse to get us closer to that end result of the Barry agenda. It is time for our supposed "leaders" to go back to the drawing board. All those who dreamed up this current fiasco need to come back with a truly viable plan that provides true reforms. One that includes such things as tort reform, health savings account, less regulation allowing for increased competition, tax credits, portable policies and the like presented as a more reasonable approach to reform. And let’s stop perpetuating the idiotic rhetoric that there are somehow currently 48-50 million uninsured Americans, because it’s just not accurate. If you throw out the illegal immigrants that would be covered under this legislation and those who do not want to purchase insurance, even though they can afford it, you come up with a much lower and much more realistic number of 8-10 million out of just over 300 million Americans who "theoretically" cannot get insurance.

I was watching Jerry Rivers, a.k.a. Geraldo Rivera, the other night on FOX and he was nearly apoplectic regarding the fact that the public option has, supposedly, been declared dead, removed from the healthcare "reform" currently being discussed. Until there comes a time when our senior citizens tune out guys like Jerry, they will continue to get suckered into believing that the Democrats are on their side. Right, just like AARP. By the way, why is this guy still on television, does anyone really watch him? He makes no sense, is an obvious liberal and is biased to the point of being nauseating. But, I digress. Look, the elderly and soon to be elderly are going to need to get their collective act together and dump these Democratic hypocrites like a hot rock. They know not the peril that they continue to place the rest of us in.

Especially when you’re Barry "Almighty" and under the misguided impression that you’re the perfect leader in every way. And with the "in the tank", government controlled media that we have today continuing to do their best to portray Barry, just as they did in the run up to the last election, as that "Supreme Leader", it’s no wonder that this guy possesses some deep, dark messianic complex. At the same time our pillars of journalistic integrity are so very busy attempting to convince Americans that he and only he is capable of putting this county back on the path to greatness we are seeing evidence every day that it’s all nothing more than a smokescreen. Oh and one more thing, we are constantly being told that it is only Barry who cares about the little people, to the point where he wishes to create a more fair and equitable society for all. Have you ever heard more pathetic drivel? Barry is essentially a legend in his own mind, a creation of the leftist media in this country and the end product of what the media has continued to portray him as, all the while hiding from us what he truly is and always has been, A SOCIALIST! Because he believes his own press, he has come to think of himself as being infallible, to the point where not only has he now become an economic expert he also now fancies himself an environmental expert as well as an expert on all things regarding our healthcare. This guy is freakin amazing! Gee, I guess I’d have a hard time being humble too. I mean, how exactly does a man come to believe that he has the ability, and the requisite authority, and should therefore be allowed to dictate anything to the 300 million people in this country, minus the political elite and the very rich of course. How it is that one man should be permitted to determine the type of healthcare that his fellow countrymen should be able, or allowed, to have access to is inconceivable. Here we now have a man with no medical experience, never been to any kind of medical school, a man who went from being a community agitator to being a US Senator for roughly 150 days to now being president for a little over 6 months, and yet he presumes to know what’s best for the rest of us. The unmitigated gall!

Unfortunately, there is in fact today a significant number of people in this country who remain dangerously ignorant when it comes to what this man stands for. Either by choice or out of some bizarre case of willful blindness, people remain unaware concerning what it is that this man is working so hard to accomplish and who are oblivious to the tactics that he is willing to employ to see his agenda through to fruition. He is desperate to get us to that place that he wants to be remembered for leading us to. Barry, accompanied by his cadre of socialists, is on a mission to institute government sponsored health care, that same dreaded single payer system, the concept of which has never effectively worked anywhere it has ever been tried. Not in Britain, not in France, not in Germany and not in Canada, all the examples that they continue to portray as workable examples. Despite what Barry "Almighty" may say, a system like this leads to a deterioration of services provided, severely limited services (rationing) and the elderly among us being told that they may be considered ineligible for receiving certain types of care or procedures for no other reason than because of their age. There is currently plenty of evidence staring these purveyors of "reform" right in the face that shows a system such as the one they wish to inflict upon us does not and will not work. And yet, they choose to look the other way because of their determination to succeed in bringing a failed system to our shores for the ultimate purpose of controlling our lives. Their continued efforts to go forward in the face of irrefutable evidence and with failure being a foregone conclusion should cause us all to pause for a moment to do nothing other than to question their motives. We might want to spend a little time considering just why it might be that our political elitists are working so hard and are so focused on forcing this failed method of administering healthcare upon us whether we want it or not. To be foolish enough to think that this supposed reform is all about improving our healthcare system is dangerous and may in the end prove to nothing but deadly for a great number of Americans, particularly the elderly. I’m thinking that Barry must be under the mistaken impression that to know him is to trust him. There’s just one little thing wrong with this his premise, that being, it was during the last election that we were never allowed to know too much about candidate Barry. The media went to great pains to hide, camouflage or simply discredit any and all information that might have been derogatory or in any way, may have been used to discredit Barry or that revealed just how far removed from mainstream America he really was and is.

The promise of healthcare reform is nothing more than a sham and a charade. These Democrats, lead by an arrogant egomaniac, are so driven and are quite literally consumed by a deep-seated hunger for the acquisition of what they see as the ultimate power over the people of this country. Can you imagine the government, primarily Barry’s Executive Branch, having the power to dictate to every man, woman and child in this country, only those specific behaviors that are deemed appropriate by that same government? Why would anyone, even diehard Barry supporters, be willing to simply hand over to the government the authority to make healthcare decisions not only for themselves but also for their family members? Does that make sense to anyone? This supposed reform legislation needs to be killed, it needs to be stopped in its entirety. Anything less will allow these people to get their foot in the door and in very short order we will be fighting this battle again, and it will be very much more difficult next time. A victory on their part no matter how limited will simply be one more nail in the coffin of our Republic.

The lies about currently proposed Healthcare/Insurance reform are now coming fast and furious as we approach Barry’s self-imposed deadline for passage. And as much as they would like to deny it, the source for these lies are our very own members of Congress as well as our president. These outrageous lies work their way up through the Congressional "Leadership" and further on up the chain all the way to Barry "Almighty" and his staff. From Town Hall meetings that have occurred with our stellar members of Congress to accusatory "un-American" OpEds and on to speeches given by our "Supreme Leader" and his teleprompter, the propagation of lies about that which it is that they are trying to foist on the American people continues unabated. If this group of patently dishonest individuals were serious, I mean truly serious, about tracking down and identifying the various sources who they say are so busy spreading what they claim to be falsehoods regarding this fraudulent piece of legislation, they would need look no further than the nearest mirror. We cannot afford to believe any of these individuals, including Barry "Almighty", because not one, including Barry "O" himself, HAS READ THE BILL!! But they don’t need to read it, because what’s actually in there matters very little to them. The dirty little secret here is that this whole exercise has absolutely nothing to do with any kind of reform, be it healthcare or even health insurance reform. There is something much more sinister at work here. It is a very dangerous plan that these Democrats are attempting to establish and implement here.

What this is actually all about was actually brought up by a woman at a recent Town Hall meeting with that pillar of trustworthiness, Senator Arlen Specter (D). Not sounding the least bit crazy, but sounding very cool, calm and collected, she was very sincere in her sentiment that what is really going on here isn’t about healthcare at all, what it’s really all about is the complete dismantling of our country. By the way, this is the very same Arlen Specter who has now joined the chorus of Pelosi and Hoyer who are busying themselves painting those of us who are choosing not to support this blatant attempt at taking over our healthcare system, as being nothing more than un-American. This very same lady went on to tell Senator Specter that she did not want to live in Russia or any other such country, and she was right in her voicing her concerns. She is not being un-American, on the contrary, she obviously loves her country, unlike the Senator she was speaking to, who loves nothing other than political power. Each and every day we are finding out more and more about what is in this disastrous piece of legislation while at the same time we hear the continuing denials coming from our "leaders" about what this bill "really" contains and does not contain.  In truth, according to this insane legislation the American people will be directed to cede their power to decide life and death issues to some robotic, single-minded bureaucrat whose sole mission in life is to effectively ration healthcare using the bottomline to determine who, exactly, is worth the cost.  These bureaucrats will be the ones now making the life and death decisions,in effect, controlling costs at the expense of people's lives.  And yet, we continue to hear Democrats spew their rhetoric about how much they care about the American people, and it is all nothing but pure fiction. They use their empty rhetoric to misdirect concern and to downplay all of the scarier aspects of what they are trying to inflict upon we the American people. From the government having access to your bank account, to the allowing of some bureaucrat to come into the home of expecting parents or parents of young children to the requiring of end of life counseling every five years for the elderly, Barry and Democrats are trying to encroach further into our private lives. We’re supposed to be reassured when dishonest politicians attempt to convince those of us who are happy with our insurance and wish to keep it by saying that, sure we’ll be allowed to do so. Unfortunately, that’s a lie. The rampant dishonesty being exhibited by so many arrogant members of Congress regarding this bogus notion of reform should be seen as unconscionable even for Liberal Democrats.

Those who we are supposed to be able to trust and who are supposed to be working "for" us and not "against" us are now busy lying to us to our face on a daily basis. And for what purpose exactly? They are busy expending every effort to totally misrepresent a piece of legislation the sole purpose of which is to rob us of our privacy regarding the most important, and in some cases most intimate, aspects of our lives. They do so because they want to control us, totally, and we cannot, we must not, allow them to succeed in that endeavor. It’s quite ironic really that those trying to expose what it is that this legislation attempts to accomplish are now the ones being maligned by Democrats and their accomplices in the media as being the ones who are guilty of spreading falsehoods and inaccuracies about what is truly in this bill. They’re being accused of using "scare tactics" in order to create doubts about the bill’s purpose. But nothing could be further from the truth. It is those who are working so hard to shove this legislative abomination down our throats who are the ones truly guilty of lying and distorting what it is that’s being proposed. Barry can establish all of the "Big Brother" type websites he wants. It’s not going to prevent the American people from figuring out what he’s trying to accomplish here.

This corrupt dynamic duo goes on to say, "Healthcare is complex. It touches every American life. It drives our economy. People must be allowed to learn the facts." Hey Nancy you moron, we know the facts, the ones who are apparently a little deficient in that area and who are more than just a bit ignorant about the legislation they’re wanting to pass, are your fellow members of Congress. If it is anyone who is being un-American here, it is Barry and his cadre of Socialist followers who are trying to quite literally steal that most important aspect of our lives, control of our healthcare. They mention that, "…tactics have included hanging in effigy one Democrat member of Congress in Maryland and protesters holding a sign displaying a tombstone with another name of another congressman in Texas…" Ok I get it, it was ok when George Bush was being hung in effigy, and books were being written about his assassination while movies were being made accusing him of all kinds of atrocities. But when it comes to anyone doing such a thing to a Democrat well that’s, that’s just plainly un-American! Do these people even realize just how arrogant they sound?

Yes my friends, it would appear that open season has now been officially declared on anyone who dares to disagree with Barry "Almighty" when it comes to those things which he thinks are best for we the common little folk. But what if we common folk choose to disagree with his little assessment? What if we're not willing to go along with the master plan he has laid out for us?  Will we be allowed to voice our concerns, our objections or perhaps even offer suggestions for improvement?  NOPE, not acceptable, we're too stupid!  Why is it that when those of us on the Right go about protesting the theft of our country and of our freedoms we’re dismissed as nothing more than a bunch of rightwing, nutjob extremists. Or as Nancy "MY FACE IS STRETCHED SO DAMN TIGHT" Pelosi likes to refer to us as, a bunch of wild-eyed, card carrying Nazi zealots. But it's a much different story when those on the left are busily going about their business of trying to shove their corrupt values down our throats, they’re all called patriots who are out to make America a more tolerant and equitable place. Ya know, it’s kind of funny though, and more than just a little ironic when Nancy "stretch" Pelosi calls us Nazis, especially since it is those on her end of the political spectrum who more often than not are the ones employing the tactics of and are exhibiting the same type of behavior and character flaws of those who were Nazis. Hell, now if we chose not to go along with Barry’s plans for us it’s because we're all nothing more than a bunch of cowardly racists. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele defended the activism, even as he denied the party was organizing it. "We are not inciting anyone to go out and destruct anything. We're encouraging people to go and visit their congressman or their senator," Steele told reporters on a conference call. "We're not organizing the town halls, the congressmen and the senators are. And as citizens they have a right to go and express their points of view." We who actually love America don’t need to be organized, we love this country down to our core and can plainly see what it is that’s being attempted here. We’re not stupid, despite what Barry and his gang may think!  Barry recently referenced the opposition in a fundraising e-mail sent by his leftist political group, Organizing for America, and asked his supporters to attend events to show their support for his healthcare plans. "There are those who profit from the status quo, or see this debate as a political game, and they will stop at nothing to block reform," he said. "They are filling the airwaves and the Internet with outrageous falsehoods to scare people into opposing change."  This isn’t about simply opposing healthcare reform, it’s about the preservation of what few freedoms we have left, for Gods sake!!  How dare we little people, the know nothings, take it upon ourselves to assume that we should have the audacity to challenge that which Barry "Almighty" has preordained for us, and that which he has already decided is something that we need and therefore will have. How dare we? How dare HE!  We have now arrived at a point in time where honest disagreement is ,quite simply put, something not to be tolerated in any way, shape, manner or form. Barry and his cadre of Socialists are determined to just ignore us, casting us as nothing more than a bunch of right wing malcontents not to be taken seriously and as those who have nothing constructive to offer to the debate. What this really boils down to is trust, I DO NOT TRUST BARRY, OR ANY OF THE DEMOCRATS!

         

How do you spell catastrophe? I’ll tell you how I spell it, O-B-A-M-A. On all fronts regarding Domestic and Foreign Policy, the dangerously twisted ideology of Barry "Almighty" that we see on full display 24/7 should cause every America deep concern and worry. When looking down the road that he has chosen to ensure this country is now embarked upon in his supposed attempt to "fix" our lagging economy, any rational thinking American, something that is in rather short supply today, must surely be scratching their heads. You have to ask yourself, what self respecting economic expert, let alone the supposed "leader" of our country, who was serious in their attempt to revive our economy would be purposely doing any of the things that this gang who can’t shoot straight is doing, or is trying to do. If you happened to be listening to Barry’s economic guru’s this past Sunday, I think it’s safe to say that Barry may be having his own "read my lips" moment as far as taxes go. If you’ll remember during the campaign Barry repeatedly promised that NO ONE, NO ONE making less that $250,000 per year would see "any" of their taxes go up by one dime. Well, that little statement may now be on it way to being proven to be nothing more than what many of us thought it was at the time it was made. Pure Barry BS. This past Sunday "Tax Cheat" Treasury Secretary Timmy "The Elf" Geithner and his partner in crime National Economic Council Director Larry "Snoozer" Summers, both side stepped answering questions regarding Barry’s intentions regarding the raising of taxes on those of us in that special little group who make less than that $250,000. Timmy said that the White House, meaning Barry, was not ready to rule out a tax hike to lower the federal deficit. "If we want an economy that’s going to grow in the future, people have to understand we have to bring those deficits down. And it’s going to be difficult, hard for us to do. And the path to that is through healthcare reform". Timmy said. Ya know, I heard Barry come up with a lot of reasons for healthcare "reform", but that was the first time I’ve heard it being touted as a method of deficit reduction. He added, "We’re not at the point yet where we’re going to make a judgement about what’s it’s going to take." Gee, thanks Timmy. The utter stupidity of such a statement is mind boggling even coming from this genius and goes far beyond even the garbage we’ve already heard from this administration which has been moving at nearly breakneck speed to put the deficit through the roof. But wait, there’s more. Because over on Face the Nation with a somewhat senile Bob Schieffer, Larry "I’m a Goof" Summers was saying, "There is a lot that can happen over time." This shifty boob when on to say about the administration, again meaning Barry, "it is never a good idea to absolutely rue things out, no matter what." So I guess what I’m getting from this, Larry, is the fact that most likely Barry the candidate lied to everyone in order to increase his odds of becoming Barry the president. Then today we heard from Robert Gibbs, Barry’s stellar Press Secretary who makes Scott McClellan sound like a silver-tongued devil, as he restated that Barry "has made a very clear commitment to not raise taxes on the middle class." I don’t know about you, but that sure doesn’t instill a whole lot of confidence that any of these guys know what the heck they're talking about.  Me thinks somebody is lying.  Hmmmmm, any guesses regarding just who that might be?

Look, what should be obvious to anyone seriously looking for proven methods to be imitated in the getting of our economy back on track is that there is presently out there amongst the states an ideal, and vast laboratory. In this ongoing laboratory there is, right now, a perfect example of an experiment, the results of which clearly demonstrate the proper steps to take if one’s desire is to truly revive ones economy. All one really needs to do is to look at what’s going on in California and then compare that to what it is that’s also going on in Texas. These two huge states, one Red and the other Blue, are on the road rapidly headed in opposite directions and are destined to arrive at vastly different destinations, fiscally speaking. While one has set about putting economically sound policies into practice the other has been busying itself doing the things resulting in essentially speeding up its own financial collapse and eventual demise. We’re quite literally being shown the way in how to create and to maintain some semblance of economic stability and yet it’s all being ignored. Here’s what I mean. Texas has been booming, and has been for nearly a decade. Buoyed by a strong economy fueled by low taxes, low regulations and a very limited welfare system, the Lone Star State has continued to buck the national trends on jobless claims and its government has stayed in the black when the vast majority of states are in the red, deeply in the red. Many cockamamie liberals love to claim that it’s all merely a coincidence, pointing to oil and gas prices as one reason Texas’ economy is so strong. But that’s just a typical liberal cop out, and it is hardly a credible argument. Surprise! Unlike the 1980s, when oil reigned supreme and had the power to take down the entire Texas economy when it went south, petroleum in the 2000s hardly has that same power. As an example, one can see that there isn’t much natural gas in McKinney. It’s there that black gold has now been replaced by the gold of the fiber-optic type. And if there was any oil in Austin, you can bet that the environmentalist wackos wouldn’t be letting anyone touch it. A Texas economy that used to be one of the most one-dimensional in America, is now very heavily diversified. Individual entrepreneurs want to live in Texas because they don’t pay any income tax. Businesses want to locate in Texas because they’re not overtly regulated. Today in Texas they have engineering, biochemical, wind generation and computer software development along with more start-ups than Texas leaders even two decades ago would never have imagined. People don’t come to Texas for welfare because none exists, so people who show up in Texas, show up to work, generate wealth and contribute to the overall economy. In 2008 alone more jobs were created in a six-month period in Texas than in all of the other states combined. And it just so happens that Texas is also home to more Fortune 500 companies than other state in America. No matter how hard you try, you cannot say the same thing about sunny California, with it essentially being in many ways, Texas’ polar opposite. It would be hard to imagine two states moving in more opposite directions. While one is unabashedly pro-growth and aggressive in courting industry, the other seems content to spin an ever increasing bureaucratic spider web of laws, regulations and red tape that are quite literally driving business right out of the state. The nine states with the highest outflow of workers are the same states with the highest marginal tax rates. DUH! In addition, California has a high tax on capital gains, which is a major contributor to the budgetary disasters such as those hitting California now. When the economy is doing well, the state takes in the money hand over fist, but when the economy tanks, well, the money vanishes just as quickly. The once Golden State has now gotten a bit tarnished, to the point where it has been forced to start paying creditors, business suppliers and students expecting grants in IOUs. Unions as well are a major contributing factor to California's woes. And just today a panel of three Federal judges ordered California to reduce its prison population by 25% and has given the governor and the legislature 45 days to come up with a plan. Texas, on the other hand is a right to work state. Wherever unions are present, the decks are stacked in their favor. That makes in big difference, ultimately between negotiation and dictation of union terms. Finally in the comparison of these two examples, is the state’s budget. It is people who build economies and more often than not it’s governments that tear them down. By using the simple premise of sticking to limited government and avoiding the urge to splurge, the Texas legislature has allowed the Texas workforce not only to weather the storm, but to thrive. Not only do these low tax policies soften the recession in Texas, they become magnets to businesses across the nation searching for a place to thrive. So the bottom line here is essentially quite simple, if you are really serious about working to "fix" our economy which is the model that should be followed, Texas or California, Conservative or Liberal?

Now, if Barry "Almighty" was truly looking for a model to follow in getting our economy back on stable footing, he has the perfect model staring him right in the face. Which model would you chose to follow? Which policies make the most sense if your sole purpose is economic growth? So the question remains, what is it that’s Barry’s real master plan, is it really to grow the economy, or is it the enslavement of as many as possible to the government? The time has come to question Barry’s true motives, and what exactly he meant by "hope and change" and "change you can believe in."

Just a brief note regarding what I see as the most disastrous version of Foreign Policy since, the man whom, that faux journalistic sage, Walter Cronkite called our smartest president, Jimmy "Bonehead" Carter. Consistently coming down on the wrong side at every opportunity and in every conceivable way on every critical issue facing this country today. Barry and Hillary could not be doing more damage, in the demeaning and degrading our county in the eyes of our enemies, if they were doing so on purpose. They cozy up to corrupt despots like Chavez, provide US taxpayer money to known terror organizations and slam our one steadfast ally in the Mid-East, Israel. It’s disgusting! North Korea has committed more blatantly hostile acts since the inauguration of Barry "Almighty" that it did in the entire eight years of the Bush Administration. And despite some very serious questions regarding a potentially fraudulent election in Iran, one that was fraught with irregularities, Barry now officially recognizes that little dweeb, Ahmaddinejad as that country’s legitimate president. Barry and Hillary seem to be of the mind that if we are nice to everybody, everybody will be nice to us. This group of naïve, gutless, cowardly and feckless misfits is accomplishing nothing more than the placing of this country in an increasingly perilous situation. And for what, so they can feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

We are now being told that our economy is on the mend, that we have finally turned the corner. We are repeatedly be told about how thankful we should be to Barry for his quick thinking and for putting his brilliantly conceived plan into action to expeditiously in order to rescue us. Never mind that it was the Democrats who put us on this road to financial ruin, no let’s not waste time trying to place blame, lets just fix the problem. Unless, of course there’s some way we can pin it all on George Bush. One thing that seems to be completely lost, or simply ignored, by our brilliant populace is the fact that our economy runs in cycles, and when it embarks upon a downward cycle to involve the government into any sort of revival never works and should be avoided at all costs. Especially when it’s the same government that created the environment ripe for such a downward cycle to begin in the first place. The government does not, no, make that can not, create the jobs necessary to slow or to reverse that downward direction. Barry is doing his best to engineer and is well on his way toward implementing a massive government takeover of our private economy, which can only result in having an adverse effect on any economic recovery. The economy will come back to a degree in spite of what Barry has tried to inflict upon it, but the speed with which it makes it’s return can only be hampered by the policies he is busily putting in place. And the damage, quite possibly irreversible damage, that will have been done may very well be with us well into the future because we will have allowed the government to encroach so deeply into areas that just one short year ago, were purely private enterprises. For years during the Bush Administration supposed honorable members of Democrat Party repeatedly told our then very sound economy was on the verge of collapse. Assisted by their minions in the media, those pillars of journalistic integrity, all were busy expending an inordinate amount of energy to print and to broadcast the same blatant falsehood trying to cause doubts about the strength of our economy in the minds of the American people. And now with the 2010 elections looming not all that far away, these same people are now attempting to convince us that an economy that is essentially at death’s door has now miraculously turned the corner, with the worst now being over and with us now fully on the road to recovery. NOT!!! As I said earlier, the economy runs in cycle and an economic recovery is almost inevitable, but will Barry get credit for it nonetheless, particularly because he took action that he'll be able to link, however speciously, with the recovery. That’s when we’ll see if the American people will allow themselves to be played, or if they will see things as they truly are.

The American people are becoming more and more oblivious to their freedoms that are slowly being lost, no not lost, stolen from them. All I can chalk that up to is that they are either stupid or are quite content to let things proceed as they are now doing. Either way, the end result is not going to be pretty. So yes Bill I do agree with you, America is a stupid country.
