How on Earth, or maybe a better question is why on Earth, have we allowed things to progress to the point where we willingly allow our elected officials to continually slander any American who happens to disagree with them? Is this the type of juvenile behavior we should expect from supposed adults in positions of governmental leadership? These political elitists have now dedicated themselves to shoving a farce they call healthcare "reform", or insurance "reform" or whatever kind of reform they’re calling it this week, down our throats whether we the American people want it or not! Barry has said that he's determined to get an overhaul of the healthcare system completed before the end of the year and, if necessary, without bipartisan support. He said, "I promise you, we will pass reform by the end of this year because the American people need it. We're going to have to make it happen." He went on to say "Sometime in September we're going to have to make an assessment" about whether to keep trying to negotiate with Republicans, he told MSNBC. Barry said he "would prefer Republicans working with us" but that getting his main priorities for a healthcare overhaul are more important. Just today he was heard to say, "I don’t want the folks who created this mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess." It represents a marked change from the emphasis the Messiah placed on bipartisanship when he launched his campaign for a healthcare overhaul at a White House summit in March. "The time is closing in," said fellow leftist Senator Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va. "We cannot finish this year without passing major healthcare reform. It's our sacred duty to the American people." Rockefeller said negotiations with Republicans have only resulted in a bill that "gets weaker, and weaker, and weaker." Hey there Mr. Rocket Scientist, you’re not paying attention, most Americans don’t want your version of healthcare "reform."
Yes my friends, it would appear that open season has now been officially declared on anyone who dares to disagree with Barry "Almighty" when it comes to those things which he thinks are best for we the common little folk. But what if we common folk choose to disagree with his little assessment? What if we're not willing to go along with the master plan he has laid out for us? Will we be allowed to voice our concerns, our objections or perhaps even offer suggestions for improvement? NOPE, not acceptable, we're too stupid! Why is it that when those of us on the Right go about protesting the theft of our country and of our freedoms we’re dismissed as nothing more than a bunch of rightwing, nutjob extremists. Or as Nancy "MY FACE IS STRETCHED SO DAMN TIGHT" Pelosi likes to refer to us as, a bunch of wild-eyed, card carrying Nazi zealots. But it's a much different story when those on the left are busily going about their business of trying to shove their corrupt values down our throats, they’re all called patriots who are out to make America a more tolerant and equitable place. Ya know, it’s kind of funny though, and more than just a little ironic when Nancy "stretch" Pelosi calls us Nazis, especially since it is those on her end of the political spectrum who more often than not are the ones employing the tactics of and are exhibiting the same type of behavior and character flaws of those who were Nazis. Hell, now if we chose not to go along with Barry’s plans for us it’s because we're all nothing more than a bunch of cowardly racists. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele defended the activism, even as he denied the party was organizing it. "We are not inciting anyone to go out and destruct anything. We're encouraging people to go and visit their congressman or their senator," Steele told reporters on a conference call. "We're not organizing the town halls, the congressmen and the senators are. And as citizens they have a right to go and express their points of view." We who actually love America don’t need to be organized, we love this country down to our core and can plainly see what it is that’s being attempted here. We’re not stupid, despite what Barry and his gang may think! Barry recently referenced the opposition in a fundraising e-mail sent by his leftist political group, Organizing for America, and asked his supporters to attend events to show their support for his healthcare plans. "There are those who profit from the status quo, or see this debate as a political game, and they will stop at nothing to block reform," he said. "They are filling the airwaves and the Internet with outrageous falsehoods to scare people into opposing change." This isn’t about simply opposing healthcare reform, it’s about the preservation of what few freedoms we have left, for Gods sake!! How dare we little people, the know nothings, take it upon ourselves to assume that we should have the audacity to challenge that which Barry "Almighty" has preordained for us, and that which he has already decided is something that we need and therefore will have. How dare we? How dare HE! We have now arrived at a point in time where honest disagreement is ,quite simply put, something not to be tolerated in any way, shape, manner or form. Barry and his cadre of Socialists are determined to just ignore us, casting us as nothing more than a bunch of right wing malcontents not to be taken seriously and as those who have nothing constructive to offer to the debate. What this really boils down to is trust, I DO NOT TRUST BARRY, OR ANY OF THE DEMOCRATS!
Barry, along with Pelosi, Reid, Schumer and Bawney Fwank as well as any number of others, will continue to tell us absolutely anything, never letting the truth of the matter get in the way to get this legislative abomination passed us. They will continue to lie through their teeth at every opportunity to get this whole government assuming control of our healthcare crap shoved through over all manner of objections. The healthcare reform bill that emerges from Congress this year will include a government-run public health insurance option, regardless of the bipartisan negotiations seeking a compromise in the Senate, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Sunday. "Make no mistake about it, the president is for this strongly. There will be a public option in the final bill," Schumer said on CBS News's "Face the Nation." How dare they. Have we really now gotten to the point where we are no longer allowed to or permitted to express any manner of dissent? Did something happen to the First Amendment when I wasn’t looking? Are we to be nothing more than sheep made to follow our shepherd even though he’s about to lead us over a cliff? And a more important question, are there still enough Americans left who disagree with this premise? Democrats maintain that a not-for-profit, nationwide alternative to private insurance must be made available to "keep the insurance companies honest," Schumer said. "We don't trust the private insurance companies left to their own devices and neither do the American people." Republicans, at least most of them I think, are saying not so fast. "The federal government is in the process of nationalizing banks, nationalizing General Motors. I'm going to make sure we don't nationalize health insurance and [the] public option is the first step to doing that," Finance Committee ranking member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said on "Face the Nation. "The House has proposed its plan, has a strong public option. The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, the other committee in the Senate doing this, has proposed a strong public option," Schumer said. House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) indicated that a public option would be a deal-breaker for Republicans. "I think having the government have a plan to compete with the private sector is unfair, because the government has no cost of capital," Boehner said. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) defended proposals to require most employers to provide health insurance to their workers or pay the a fee to the government. "We believe that if the employers don't participate, then they need to -- by having their employees covered by their own insurance, then they need to participate in helping to pay for the system," Hoyer said. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said an employer mandate would be lethal to small companies. "Such an employer mandate would put a lot of small businesses out of business," he said.
There was an interesting Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday that found 52 percent of voters disapprove of Barry's handling of healthcare while 39 percent approve. That was a shift from 46 percent approval against 42 percent disapproval in a July 1 survey. So what, that doesn’t seem to matter much to Barry and the gang. There are also concerns about spending too much and adding to the deficit which appeared to fuel the change, with 72 percent saying they do not believe Barry can overhaul healthcare without expanding the deficit. WHAT, Barry lie? Why, I’m shocked, I truly am!
