IT IS TIME FOR A NEW REVOLUTION, A "CONSERVATIVE" REVOLUTION!!!

With all that he is desperately trying to accomplish, will our "Supreme Leader", Barry be successful in his obvious attempt to completely extinguish that eternal flame of freedom that has burned in America since it first came into being. Or, will he instead act as a spark which will re-ignite efforts to bring about a revival of conservative values, a 21st Century revolution of sorts. Will his actions act a catalyst having the same effect of fueling that very same flame so that instead of it being extinguished it will be made to burn even brighter? And will we finally get to that place where a majority of the American people will draw that proverbial line in the sand and loudly proclaim, "This far and no further?" The apparent Barry inspired, and Democrat Party led socialist juggernaut designed to rapidly expand the power of the government is being advanced a an alarming rate. The sole purpose of which is the perpetrating of a vicious and multi-level assault on this country’s spirit of individualism and free-market economy which has to be at least slowed if not stopped completely. And the only way that the American people are going to ever be able to create a workable scenario that will allow them to stem this out of control behavior and then to have their plan to stand any chance of achieving success, is to elect members to Congress who are unabashedly conservative. You’ll notice I did not say, more Republicans must be elected, but conservatives. Until the day that the Republican Party is able to prove to me that it is willing to perform as that much needed conservative alternative or counterbalance to the present venomous liberalism of the Democrat Party, I will consider myself under no obligation nor feel any allegiance to vote for or contribute to any candidate simply because they have an (R) after his or her name.

Are we all supposed to believe, as Barry has attempted to make the case for on any number of different occasions, that after 230+ years, the Republic of these United States, and all that it has come to stand for, has finally run its course. With its having elected its 44th president, has America effectively reached its pinnacle having realized its fullest potential with absolutely no hope of any further advancement? Is Barry right when he says that while it was in fact a valiant and very noble effort and a grand experiment, it has only managed to fall far short of what is now needed in an effort to ensure that life is fair, just and equitable for every American citizen. According to Barry, our Founders were essentially just a bunch of misguided, wealthy, albeit with the best of intentions, old white men. If you listen to Barry the time has now come for things to essentially be adjusted downward, to lower expectations for individual achievement. Also we must now work to diminish the importance of a strong private sector and our free-market economy while extolling the benefits of the expanding role of government in every facet of American society. Barry also loves to make the false claim that those in government can be better trusted to enhance the human condition for every American citizen than can the individual supported by a strong and vibrant private sector.

It is absolutely imperative that a majority of Americans now be convinced that what Barry is doing equates to nothing more than the essentially throwing of this country under the bus. And for what reason do you suppose? Simple, to expand the power and scope of the Federal Government, by literally destroying our economy, assuming control over significant parts of it and finally by ensuring that control of the healthcare received by the American people falls under the direct purview of overpaid and under-worked government bureaucrats. His main tool here is one of taking a very prevalent entitlement mentality that is already running amok in this country and attempting to take it to a higher level in an attempt to get it to where it is absolutely viral in nature. He hopes that through such shady maneuvers as the assuming of complete control over our healthcare, for instance, he will be able to convince even more people that it is the government to whom they can best trust to provide for their every necessity.

So will what he has accomplished over the course of the last 10 months, and all that he says he wishes to accomplish during the remaining years of his "first term", be enough to bring about a reinvigorated desire in enough of the American people making them willing to fight for the freedoms guaranteed to them by our Constitution? If it is in fact true that we are a conservative nation, then it would at least appear that we would have the numbers on our side. So, I guess the big question is this, do we have the will to fight in an effort take back our country from Barry and his minions, Dingy Harry and Botox Nancy, before the damage they can do becomes totally irreparable. Will what they are trying to do to our country be enough to stir enough freedom loving people into some sort of action? Will it serve as a call to arms to all "Americans" no matter what their race, sex, creed or political persuasion? Only time will tell, I suppose. And will a Republican Party who continues to call itself the natural home for conservatives be seen in that light by most conservatives? Because, I promise, that unless Mr. Steele makes some major changes regarding those candidates the RNC chooses to support, I fear the party will only see its numbers decline while at the same time, the number of conservatives is actually on the increase. I simply would not expect to see conservatives flock to the party while at the same time it fails to support those candidates who have shown themselves to be, unashamedly CONSERVATIVE. And with the Republican candidate now having withdrawn from the NY-23 Congressional race (and is now supporting the Democrat) the RNC, as well as fellas like Newt and others who chose to provide her with their endorsements and support, have pretty much lost a serious amount of credibility. Credibility that comes at a very high premium and is very difficult to earn back once it’s been lost. And that’s potentially a very serious problem, especially with an election (2010) which has potentially some very major consequences, in political terms, just around the corner. Who is possibly going to trust, or be willing to support at face value any candidate that a very questionable RNC or supposed conservatives like Newt, chooses to endorse with no questions asked? No one, that’s who!

So the bottom line here is that I think conservatives are now finding themselves in a political "Catch 22."  They see Barry working on an agenda that will, quite literally, destroy their country, they view themselves as conservatives, and yet they find their only option is to vote for the candidates being presented by a political party, the party that professes itself to be the choice for conservatives, who are somewhat less than conservative, or these so-called "moderates".  And being somewhat less than conservative, or one of these "moderates" is not going to be enough to get my vote. I am not voting for some "moderate" Republican, NOT NOW, NOT EVER!!  I am just so done with having that as my only option at election time!  Look, I have a little ultimatum of my own to deliver.  Either the Republican Party is going to be the home of real Conservatism and bring forth the candidates who believe in that philosophy, both fiscally and socially, or Mr. Steele may just as well fold up the tent right now!  So, what's it gonna be Mr. Steele?  Is the Republican Party going to be the home of squeamish "Moderates" who possess a fear of commitment or of tried and true Conservatives?  Which is it?
