Ya know, I listen to quite a bit of Talk Radio and have come to rely on many of those who form the alternative media, as well as many on the internet, as my primary sources for useable information. But every once and a while when I’m listening to one of my favorite shows I’ll hear a statement made by either the host of the show or one of the callers that causes me to pause and one that I simply do not understand. Such was the case Tuesday morning while on my way to work. I was driving along happily listening to my favorite morning show when I heard a couple of comments that struck me as being, somewhere along the lines of, what can only be described as wishful thinking on the part of someone that I thought really should know better. The host of this syndicated morning show made what I thought was a rather naive statement in that he thought that the "people are starting to figure things out" regarding what it is that Barry is out to accomplish. He also made the comment the Barry was turning out to be much worse than he had thought he would be prior to Barry’s being elected. DAH! And then one of the folks that had called in that same morning made a statement, and very enthusiastically so, I might add, that "the American people are now awake", and I thought to myself, oh really? Now I hate to be the one to have to bring this up, especially to someone who has their own radio show, but now is not exactly the time for anyone to be figuring things out or to be now just waking up to the monstrosity that is, Barry "Almighty." That time has long since passed us by, with it being something that should have been done during the last campaign at a time when we had a man who was so very easy to identify as a Socialist, running for president. And yet, what did we do? Why we elected him, of course! The proverbial little light bulb should have been flashing a mile a minute and very brightly, long before anyone decided that it would be such a great idea to pull the lever to vote for a guy who was known to be, and by just about everyone, as "the" most liberal member of the U.S. Senate. Throughout the campaign Barry was very clear in stating what he had in mind for the rest of us and what he planned on doing if elected. So it would seem more than just a little foolish to now be making the claim that people should now finally be "figuring things out" or that the "American people are waking up."
I would argue that far too few people have yet figured anything out and are yet to wake up to what it is that is being perpetrated against our Republic. My reason for saying this is based in part on the people with whom I interact with on a daily basis. People, who are professional types and who, apparently, seem perfectly content to go through life blissfully ignorant and completely oblivious to the outright theft that is going on right before their very eyes, 24/7. Most are people whom I simply don’t see as being in the process of figuring things out or as being awake to what it is that’s presently taking shape in this country. It is people like these, who, in a sense, have joined with other likeminded folks to form the equivalent of their own selective and rapidly expanding minority community of sorts. This growing community of morons seems to fit in very comfortably with a substantial portion of our population made up of other communities made up of individuals who continue to allow themselves to be so easily manipulated by blatantly corrupt, dishonest and unethical politicians. It is because these imbeciles continue to be so easily sucked in by the rhetoric and propaganda being constantly spewed by the hypocritical "leaders" of their respective communities, be it the Black Community, the Hispanic Community or this new, and rapidly expanding, Moron Community, that they repeatedly fall prey to the unscrupulous.
What should be obvious to even the most brain-dead among us, is the fact that what we now have in Washington is a government gone completely mad. There is zero adult supervision, NONE! Because our government is now being run by a political party steeped in every variety of corruption imaginable. From tax evaders like Charlie Rangel, to Dianne Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi who have enriched themselves by acting as inside the beltway conduits siphoning off millions of taxpayer dollars leading directly back to their spouses, and these are only the examples that come immediately to mind. And yet, again demonstrated by those with whom I come into contact with every day, the majority of Americans continue to go about their daily lives as if everything is just hunky-dory, they’ve figured out nothing about anything. The idiotic comments that I constantly hear from reasonably intelligent people is truly frightening, because such comments expose to all who hear them the reason that got us to where we are today. By the time these people have finally "figured things out" or have sufficiently ‘woke up", things will more than likely have progressed to the point where it may be absolutely impossible to ever recover, with there being little chance of ever returning our country back to what it once was. Barry and his fellow Democrats have put us on the fast track toward what they see as being that very same point of no return. They have us rushing headlong into oblivion, and as a free society, toward extinction.
Barry, while appearing to be inept, inexperienced and Carter-esque in his stupidity in going about what Americans see as the daily business of being president, is instead, proving to be much more cunning and sinister in the completing of his agenda than Carter ever was or ever could have been. Barry is very purposeful and dedicated in his efforts to move this country very sharply and very rapidly to the left and to the expanding of the size and scope of a government that is already far too large and far too powerful. He has "We the people" in his crosshairs and will stop at nothing until the Federal Government has acquired complete control over us. With his assuming control of the banks, 2 out of 3 of the auto-makers, the college loan program, his commitment to literally seize control of our Healthcare system, his desire to perpetuate the now totally discredited premise of man-made Global Warming/Climate Change in a effort to fill government coffers through Cap and Tax legislation, and his nearly maniacal determination to stifle any and all dissent by threatening to rid the public airways of conservative Talk Radio, his attempts to discredit Fox News and his seeking to control the internet, Barry has shown himself to be on a mission. A mission to silence us, because he, and only he, knows what’s best for us.
He goes about embarrassing our country at ever opportunity by apologizing for it to every tinhorn, crackpot and third world despot or Socialist fellow traveler who will listen to him and applaud him for doing so. Bowing not only before Kings and Emperors, he even saw fit to bow before the Premier of Communist China, just what kind of crap is that? In Barry’s case, the leader of the free world has become nothing more than a national embarrassment for America, and on so many different levels. Another area in which Barry is severely lacking is in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief. A job at which he really sucks and sucks BAD. He demonstrates on nearly a daily basis a twisted refusal to effectively fight his "Overseas Contingency Operation" and to take the defense of this country seriously. By his purposeful neglecting of our National Security it can be said, and very rightly so, that as president, Barry "Almighty" is to be considered nothing short of grossly derelict in the most primary of his presidential duties, that of keeping this country safe and free. He swore an oath to defend our Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, but instead he has set out on a mission to dismantle it piece by piece as rapidly as possibly. And because of his complete inability to arrive at anything that even remotely resembles any kind of an intelligent decision regarding our ongoing war in Afghanistan, we could actually be on the verge of losing the whole thing. As well, he is in the process of single-handedly destroying the morale of our fighting forces comprised of brave men and women who are out there every day risking their lives to keep us safe. His is a national disgrace and is completely undeserving of any respect whatsoever regarding the office that he now holds.
So, what do you think, are people "finally figuring things out?" Are "Americans awake?" And if so, what the hell took them so long, and is it now too late to matter? We truly are teetering on the brink of extinction and we need to maintain the fervor of the Town Hall meetings and the Teaparties, taking it to these power hungry politicians to keep what’s left of our Republic from going completely over edge and into the abyss of oppression. I would love nothing more than to personally wipe that smug grin right off Barry’s face along with the rest of these self-serving and patently dishonest Democrats. Barry and the Democrats are out to get us, and if we refuse to stand up for ourselves we’re toast. I am of the firm opinion that the election of Barry, this characterless, ethically challenged, blatantly corrupt, egomaniacal narcissist may well turn out to be the single biggest mistake the people of this county will have ever made. And it may prove dificult if not impossible to rectify, making our trip into extinction all the more likely. But won't all that "Hope and Change" be comforting along the way?
